What kind of event is Trump at? Just saw a video of him walking around as if he was lost.

He’ll be calling them useless losers in a minute 😵‍💫. Like the sad sack he is

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 23/02/2026 19:56

They are useless losers. In the sense that they are useless at losing.

I wonder if Farage is now going to say there shouldn't be trial by media of Mandelson?

I won't hold my breath...

Well precisely. One rule for the elites, but he has to tread very carefully here.

placemats · 23/02/2026 21:05

RedTagAlan · 23/02/2026 17:31

Well, Mandelson arrested now. So the ever decreasing circle and all that. Trump wanted Farage as Ambassador to the US, so there is a sort of connection.

Mandelson is an elite with a lot of information (especially when it comes to the Met). Does his allegiance still stay with the Labour Party? Doubtful.

AcrossthePond55 · 23/02/2026 21:53

Per MS Now (TV): Epstein survivors to attend the SOTU as guests of Congressional Democrats.

AcrossthePond55 · 23/02/2026 21:58

So AMW and Mandelson both arrested for 'misconduct in office'. Am I right that in both cases Epstein was involved in some way?

If so, I'm wondering if TPTB are hoping that investigating those charges will open the Pandora's Box of sex abuse information/evidence.

In his recent article for The Times magazine, Mandelson shamelessly and untruthfully praised Trump, while sounding like he was positioning himself to do business with Reform.

We discussed it on this thread, where someone hit the nail on the head describing him as in thrall to power.

I’m more worried that they’ll see this as closing the box by offering up a couple of big names that were obvious.

God, I hope not!!

This whole thing is such a steaming pile of shit and I hope someone has the courage to actually wade in and dig around.

I'm not hopeful though. As I've said before "Money talks, the rest walks". I don't think anyone implicated will actually be held accountable unless they are a very, very low man on the Epstein totem pole as a scapegoat. That's why Ghislaine became the 'fall girl' and ended up in prison instead of being 'protected'. She personally had no power and no influence, it all derived from Epstein.

To be fair, JE ended up in prison too.

And surely she does have power, because if she decides to talk...

She's already indicated that she's more interested in sucking up to trump to secure her own freedom.

...Last year, Trump set the record for the longest State of the Union address delivered in person, whether measured by the number of words (9,906) or by the time it took to deliver (one hour, thirty-nine minutes, and thirty two seconds).

Expect tomorrow's one will be looooong. He's got a lot to get off his chest...

Mandy has been arrested in the U.K. is the difference. Something tells me he’ll sing like a canary to ensure he’s not extradited to the US…

Re Farage, Mandy and Andy:

With talk of treason being in the air, then stories like this in the press:

Nigel Farage turned away from Chagos Islands by strict border controls | News World | Metro News

"Ben Wallace, the former defence secretary, accused Mr Farage of attempting ‘MAGA stunts’."

So let me get this right. A sitting member of the UK Parliament is doing very expensive political stunts likely to be beneficial to a foreign Government, headed by his pal, and against the national interests of the UK ?

I am putting aside the politics of the Chagos issue here, but stuff lke this does make me question who Farage has allegiance to. Does he work for his Clacton constituents, or the President of the United States ?

Is Reform a political party yet, subject to funding laws, or is it still a Farage owned company ?

Nigel Farage travels 6,000 miles to be turned away from Chagos Islands

The Reform UK leader was blocked from undertaking a 'humanitarian' mission on the archipelago on Saturday.

I'm pretty sure he also set the record for the most lies told.

CNN will have Daniel Dale providing live fact-checking of this year's SOTU and the Democratic response. "Dale frequently corrects inaccuracies regarding policy, statistics, and historical claims made by speakers."

Well with his presence in Clacton, you'd think he'd be denied entry there. He did actually claim that it would be too dangerous for him to hold MP surgeries there.
