What is your most hated household task?

For me it's hoovering. Or vacuuming, whatever you call it.

I'd rather clean the toilet or wash the floor on my hands and knees than hoover. Bloody hate it.

Changing the bed sheets, I always dread it!

All of them. Working full-time, DC etc…I’m just exhausted. (But ironing was my most hated - gave that up years ago)

Cleaning bathroom shower screens!

Loos, bins and tidying up after other people.

I love hoovering which is a good as we have two extremely fluffy cats who spend their days rampaging around the house leaving fluff everywhere.
So I hoover at least three times a day.
I hate mopping the floors
Cleaning the oven and worst is putting laundry away.

Mopping! Never managed to learn to do it properly so just feel like I’m pushing mucky water around the floor 🤢
And emptying the kitchen bin.

Bathroom cleaning, hate, hate, hate it. Always come out of the room looking like I've been waterboarded.

Tidying.
I love cleaning, but hate tidying. I’d rather spend all day on my hands and knees scrubbing floors and skirting boards with a toothbrush than spend half an hour folding and putting away the laundry, or 5 minutes straightening up the living room.

Changing the beds, hate it. Don't mind vacuuming but I have a lovely powerful cordless

Cooking. I have perfected the art of healthy 5 minute meals because anything longer is a massive chore.
Love hoovering, tidying and changing beds though.

Ironing! ☠️

I just did this tonight. Grim but so satisfying 😍

Washing up, taking stuff off the line equally unloading the dishwasher because you have to then put everything away 😭

Our kitchen cabinets are white, we are battling some mould and they get dirty very often. I cannot climb well on chairs, so climbing up and down to clean them is quite nasty...

Hate:
bins( luckily DH does it) and ironing.

Like: hoovering , cleaning in general and cooking.

Cooking night after night its soul destroying!! I love baking and making bread, but thinking up dinners each week and cooking them after work - no just no!!!

I quite like hoovering, and don’t really mind ironing but I hate putting anything away be it the food shop or clean washing

Cooking. Especially if it involves having to measure out ingredients. I find it so tedious.

Cleaning the inside of the windows. They never look clean and always smear. 40 years I’ve been cleaning the windows and 40 years I’ve failed to stop them looking like the dog’s licked the glass.
A basin of hot water and washing up liquid and use newspaper to clean. Dry off with dry newspaper- they gleam!!!

Cooking. Thankfully DH does the lions share and I take all the laundry and admin.

The cooking is fine. It’s the buying and thinking what to make that I HATE. Heard some advert for a food delivery company saying most families have 6 meals on repeat - no shit!

Hand washing dishes. I hate it SO much. Thank goodness for the dishwasher, but there is always stuff that can't go in.
