@pointythings snow earlier but it didn't settle. Brass monkeys here.

You have to love a man who rocks a mullet in 2026.

I had one back in the day, but am not planning anything like that now.

DuncinToffee · 15/02/2026 13:12

We had some great mullets at school in the 80's, never sported one myself Grin

Had a Suzi Quattro mullet. Soon realised that it took tons of horrible foam stuff to make it work because my hair is naturally curly and I have loads of it still. Ended up wising up.

PickAChew · 15/02/2026 13:28

There were a few lads at our local secondary school sporting some fantastic mullets, last year.

I saw a skullet in the wild a couple of weeks ago (in Asda!) and it was sported by a kid who looked all of 9!

BestIsWest · 15/02/2026 13:29

DS had a mullet and a moustache a year or so back. Short lived thankfully!

Karistyleaftea · 15/02/2026 14:24

We've just got a Gold in the Snowboard mixed cross, well done Charlotte and Huw! Brilliant.

Piggywaspushed · 15/02/2026 15:00

Apparently, a post stating some ethnic minority child deaths are due to 'inbreeding' ( sic) does not break Talk guidelines. I am rarely struck dumb.

PickAChew · 15/02/2026 15:12

I broke my no reporting rule to report a personal attack against someone and nothing was done. I'll not bother again.

Piggywaspushed · 15/02/2026 15:15

I got a reply telling me it was relevant (no it wasn't what the thread was about!) and a discussion point. WTAF.

PandoraSocks · 15/02/2026 15:22

That thread about white people becoming the minority in the UK is a TAAT as it is discussing what was said in another thread. Normally a TAAT like that would be deleted. But not in this case. The racists are having a fucking field day on it.

Piggywaspushed · 15/02/2026 15:27

Happily, not seen that one.

I though HQ were clamping down??

SerendipityJane · 15/02/2026 15:49

DuncinToffee · 15/02/2026 12:30

Manchester Mill reported on that. Reform's vetting process still going well.

Probably because of this study. It's first cousins and it's most certainly not confined to ethnicity in Northern Ireland for example.

Beautiful day here on the South coast.
I've walked down to the sea earlier , 20 mins away.
I always wanted to live within walking distance of the sea.
I got chatting to a lady who moved here from the Midlands recently and she agreed it was indeed wonderful to have the shore on her doorstep.

I love walking along the beach. I’m about 10 minutes away from nearest.

DuncinToffee · 15/02/2026 16:46

Femke Kok, what a skater!

Yes, but irrelevant to the thread and I haven't heard the word inbreeding for many a moon.

As a lover of medieval history which involves a lot of cousin marriages, even by then there was an understanding of consanguinity amongst the sovereigns.

And agree "inbreeding' is a disgusting word.

pointythings · 15/02/2026 17:00

Whoop whoop NL gold and silver again!

It’s pretty grim but there is a strong contingent arguing sense.

LlttledrummergirI · 15/02/2026 18:14

That thread is awful. I've reported quite a few posts which are blatantly racist, yet have been allowed to stand.
Still sitting on my hands though.

GB medal race in the skeleton, going for gold

OP posts:
cardibach · 15/02/2026 18:32

It’s an exciting race. I wonder what their training looks like?

DuncinToffee · 15/02/2026 18:36

Oh wow, another gold!
