And deploy something and never document it EVER as no sprint ever included documentation so the poor idiot looking after things a few years down the line has no clue wtf is going on when it breaks. Seems to be a feature of Agile. I am sometimes glad to have retired.

Sunny here today too. Sadly it’s also bloody freezing so I want to hide from it. I’ve already dipped out of. hope not Hate demo. Supposed to be going for lunch with a social group I signed up to but not feeling that either at the moment 😢

Love to see the right fragmenting though.

I love crisp winters days when it's still and the sky goes on forever ..

It's merging with Habib's Advance UK.

Sunny this morning but cold, my feet were freezing when I got back. Clouds are coming in now.

I really wish I did. I do in theory. I just can’t handle the cold.

PandoraSocks · 14/02/2026 12:37

I am doing some gardening befire it rains again.

I see there are a lot of bigots on MN today. Helping launch Lowe's party, perhaps?

PickAChew · 14/02/2026 12:48

I escaped the house by myself, this morning, and landed in a quilt shop. I wasn't going to waste the first sunshine we've had all month, even if the cold does make my nose dribble!

Same here. Beautiful sunshine but 2°!

Ds said earlier “I hate the constant rain - but at least it was warmer” 🤣

placemats · 14/02/2026 13:15

Cold feet here as well. Have to cut down a dead broom bush; one of the good things about having to pay for garden waste is at least you're motivated to fill it up. Have been to the recycling centre earlier - much prefer the booking system at the weekend.

countrygirl99 · 14/02/2026 14:26

DH has taken one of the dogs to perform at the Birmingham Tattoo today so I took the other one for a lovely long walk to make the most of the sunshine.

Karistyleaftea · 14/02/2026 14:31

Beautiful day here on the South coast.
I've walked down to the sea earlier , 20 mins away.
I always wanted to live within walking distance of the sea.
I got chatting to a lady who moved here from the Midlands recently and she agreed it was indeed wonderful to have the shore on her doorstep.

BestIsWest · 14/02/2026 14:42

Haha, yes indeed @SerendipityJane. I lived through all of those.

Who thought it was smart to take all your company's important data and hand it to some internet rando
Indeed.
No one will ever care about your servers as much as you do.

BestIsWest · 14/02/2026 14:43

It’s been lovely here too. Been for a quick walk on the beach. Hazy grey skies now though.

LlttledrummergirI · 14/02/2026 14:50

We know when it's nice here. Our ddog is definitely fair weather, the last few weeks she has had to be frogmarched into the garden a few times a day.

Yesterday she happily went for a walk and this morning she made dh take her.

dontcallmelen · 14/02/2026 15:38

Cardi💐 really sorry you are struggling can relate a bit as I hate the cold with a passion, I had to go out earlier as had a physio appointment (had a frozen shoulder last year the other one is now “freezing”😢) admit it was a bit more pleasant as the sky was a beautiful blue although bloody cold was 2deg here this morning Dh has just lit the fire the frontroom will be cosy in a bit.
yy MN today some very unpleasant posts.

placemats · 14/02/2026 15:50

All done now. I hate the cold as well but here in the Cheshire plains the sun is always welcome. It's been damp, overcast and cold lately - miserable. Today was an apricity day, which is always welcome.

DuncinToffee · 14/02/2026 16:20

Sun is done, I am watching the speed skating.

There are some horrid threads going at the moment, Farage is not doing well?

Thanks for reminding me, I've just tuned in.

I think that the stall in Reform support in the polls is definitely driving the increase in pro-Farage threads on here.

placemats · 14/02/2026 16:30

Nail biting time with Ireland but thankfully the team came through to win. I'm a happy bunny.

placemats · 14/02/2026 16:32

Regarding upsurge in horrible threads, my belief is that it's bots versus bots. Getting vibes of Pacman.

PickAChew · 14/02/2026 16:39

I notice the Refurbish? Reduce? Recycle? (I forget the name) bots have wasted no time.

DuncinToffee · 14/02/2026 16:42

What an exciting race, silver!
