For me it’s:

people who think that Michael Jackson isn’t a pedophile.

people who say things like “Londanistan” “Bradfordistan”

People who say “If the Holocaust is real, why do the tattoo numbers only go up to 5 digits”

People who voted for Brexit - how could you not see through the lies.

Supreme idiots!

Mumptynumpty · 08/02/2026 08:01

People who are at a traffic light in their car and seem surprised and unprepared when it turns green 😡 I'm not sure what they were expecting but it never seems to be a green for go after an amber for get ready.

RobertMcnamara · 08/02/2026 09:43

@Mumptynumpty thats lack of concentration, some cycles take a long time, it doesn't make the person an idiot

Supreme idiots!

The irony is, it is those very same people who have the audacity to complain about the results of their vote!

TheAmberStork · 08/02/2026 13:21

People who constantly hijack threads and turn them into trans arguments!

TheoreticallyAdult · 08/02/2026 13:26

People who are vegetarian or vegan for health reasons.

As if a food that we’ve worshiped since we painted on cave walls causes modern diseases ffs.

What about people with colorectal disease in the family or who are at a high risk of bowel or stomach cancer? Can understand someone wanting to avoid meat for that reason. Vegetarians and vegans have lower rates of these diseases.

RobertMcnamara · 08/02/2026 15:05

@TheoreticallyAdult just because something is historical doesn’t it make it good.

Shamsie24 · 08/02/2026 15:10

People who can't explain how women and girls are supposed to tell the difference between a gender-confused man and a predator and yet still think any old bloke should be able to stroll into women's spaces.

Where I live there’s an island you can access when the tide is out. The tide times are clearly stated before you cross yet still people get stranded on said island and the coast guard has to come out to rescue them. Annoys me so much! They should be charged or fined, there’s no excuse.

Same with mountain rescue in the Lake District. So many people go up the mountains with no equipment at all, just wearing a t shirt, jeans a trainers, then when they get lost, they are shocked to find no mobile signal on a mountain ridge so can't use google maps. a

Ridiculous isn’t it. It’s the same in the Highlands.

People who can't explain how women and girls are supposed to tell the difference between a gender-confused man and a predator and yet still think any old bloke should be able to stroll into women's spaces.

And how we are supposed to tell the difference between a man who looks exactly like a man, who identifies as a man, but likes a bit of make up and some gender non-conforming clothes, and a man who looks exactly like a man but identifies as a woman and likes a bit of make up and gender non-conforming clothes?

Same with women. Vry few trans people geninely 'pass.' We all know it. If non-passing transmen express their trans manliness by having short hair, shunning makeup and high heels, only wear trousers and deliberately trying to avert attention away from their breasts, what does that make all the millions of bioligical women who identify as women, like short hair, shun makeup and high heels, prefer trousers and don't do anything to deliberately draw attention to their breasts?

Is there some point on this arbitrary spectrum of outward appearance where we are supposed to know instantly where a person sits and what gender they identify as? How am I to tell a trans man from a happily 'masc ' or 'butch' lesbian? Or just a no-nonsense straight woman who can't be arsed with heels or faffy hair and make-up?

Because god forbid I should misgender some poor woman by calling her sir or he for the crime of not trying hard enough to conform to the societal norms of femininity, beyond the fact that she's clearly biological woman just walking around in her biological woman's body.

Lasnailinthecoffin · 09/02/2026 16:36

People who don't believe in evolution and think that you can (and should), 'cure' homosexuals. A relative's church / cult has these beliefs, hence why I don't have much to do with them.

LouiseK93 · 09/02/2026 18:26

Do people really say that about the holocaust?! 😮

For me its people who think the Earth is flat and people who check themselves into hospital on Facebook with no explanation or context 🤣

LouiseK93 · 09/02/2026 18:27

Jehovahs?

LouiseK93 · 09/02/2026 18:34

Anyone who thinks Carole Baskin didnt kill her husband.

People who think they're so clever because they use a fancy different search engine to Google. Or when they call BBC the mainstream media ..

I use Startpage or DuckDuckGo because I don't want Google tracking me any more than necessary - but I don't think I'm clever for doing so; it's just my personal choice for me.

What would you say is the mainstream media if the BBC isn't part of it? Or is it the term 'mainstream media' itself that you object to? If so, how is that a value judgment? Surely mainstream just means popular, 'officially approved', largely trusted and ubiquitous - as opposed to less common media that you have to actively seek out and many people don't know about/have confidence in/distrust/think is rubbish/unreliable/dangerous?

RememberBeKindWithKaren · 09/02/2026 19:09

Sorry,.just posting because I can't work the silly app

TheSloughBeadle · 09/02/2026 19:42

People who think that London is the only place on the planet to exist.

People that think America is the only country on the planet to exist.

@AntiqueBabyLoanSmurf sorry I should have been clearer. If you're using those search engines because you're sick of ads continually coming up after you've looked at something once I do get it. I was really referring to those who think they're somehow beating the system when they use it when actually the minute they aren't on Duck Duck Go or whatever, the next site is tracking them. I think you really have to use a VPN to get properly anonymous ( not that I know much about this, I've just had some annoying interactions with others online about it) But I'm pretty sure for anyone ( not you I'm sure) using those sites to look into illegal or other grim sites, you won't evade the attentions of the police or whoever if you're on their radar. But I don't mean anything rude with this. And I relate this exact issue to those who talk about mainstream media in a negative way whilst they then happily go onto other biased sites. It's just silly. Hope I didn't offend you.

Todayismyfavouriteday · 10/02/2026 00:28

People who use AI to write, and believe Chat GPT is a reliable research source. The fact that they don't know their already small brains will shrink even more if they keep using these tools. Also, those they can't spell or use grammar... but wait, those are the ones using AI, right?

Ah, thanks - I see what you mean... and I agree with you there.

No, I'm not looking for anything dodgy(!) and I know that you will inevitably leave traces around wherever you go online. Yes also to people who think that non-mainstream sources don't also have an agenda and bias and don't examine all sources and information with an open yet critical mind.

Me too. Apparently collagen production falls off a cliff after menopause and your gut lining is made of collagen. Hence why so many women over 50 have GI issues. I only learned this yesterday and am intending to start taking it.

In fact the people I think are idiots are the people who produce health information which appears to only be aimed at men and forget that women are not little men!

It is also an important component of blood vessels. And the body needs vitamin C to utilize or synthesize it - that is what scurvy is
