A pro Trump thread to balance the 154 anti Trump threads!

Thought I’d be brave and start a pro-Trump thread for a change, after all, there are so many anti-Trump ones , we need some balance!
I even tried commenting on an anti-Trump thread today… and wow, just kept being told to go away, my comments were not well received. Honestly, I feel honoured to feel as if I have been officially deported, what an achievement!😂

I saw your posts on there. I suspect most of them will just ignore you because that's the best way to deal with imbeciles.

So, where's the list of the pros? So far, all you've done is taunt (like your orange idol). Where's the list? Or, when it comes down to it, are you TACOing too?

I’m deeply anti-Trump, but there’s no chance a similar thread about Xi, Putin, Kim or Khamenei would fill up like this, which is depressing.

That's because the US is a country that's been a long-standing ally that's now tumbling fast into a dictatorship and endangering global stability as a result. I mean, there is a clear difference?

TDS does not exist.

I think it does, but not in the way they're using it...

BoyHowdy · 29/01/2026 19:26

You forgot that he didn’t sic his own federal troops against his own civilians, terrorising them in their own streets while holding them ransom against their state voter data.

Absolutely!! There’s an awful lot more of the unbelievably awful crap he’s done. How long have we got?

I liked trump first term. Economy was booming. All I remember was laughing about mean tweets and silliness.

Trump term 2 I liked the foreign policy stuff until he started the Greenland threats.

I used to defend trump but the USA is absolutely insane rn. I cannot defend it at all. It's completely unhinged and out of control. I hate illegal immigration as much as the next person but what ICE is doing is extremely wrong. Extremely wrong.

I also believe that the 2020 election was not stolen and was hoping the justice department would achieve justice and he'd be convicted for the crimes he's done. The man absolutely terrifies me now.

You liked him and defended him in his first term, in spite of the way he ‘joked’ about sexually assaulting women? 🤔

I am filling up my bingo card...... tangerine mentioned.
So his colour is so important to you that you have to mention it. 🙄What would you say if I kept mentioning someone's colour?

That depends, are they tangerine?

The problem is, as fast as we type them, he's committing them.

TDS does not exist.

I am afraid it does......Warren Davidson (R-OH) introduced the Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) Research Act of 2025. This bill would direct the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study the psychological and social roots of what is known as Trump Derangement Syndrome, a phenomenon marked by extreme negative reactions to President Donald J.

He is doing a very good job of turning the US into the Republic of Gilead.

Under his eye.

You do know that there’s a difference between mentioning someone’s colour by virtue of their race, and mentioning it with regards to the fact that he clearly dines regularly at the bar of (not very convincing) fake tan?

And yes, I think “go away” is pretty tame when someone starts a pro rapist thread and expects support.

ReyRey12 · 29/01/2026 19:50

I spend time on r/AskTrumpSupporters to understand the supporters. It is an interesting place ans there are occasionally some interesting discussion.

I remeber when his first term ended, I thought that it wasn't too bad. Don'tagree with the guy but it wasn't terrible as people expectes. But I can't genuinely understand how he still has followers. And how he has become a cult leader. Trump themed parties? Wtf?! Even if you agree with some of his actions, I just can't understand how people can support the ridiculousness he writes under pictures of presidents, text messages, absolute lies he says.

@BoyHowdy and the new awful crap creates amnesia for yesterday’s awful crap.

A week ago may as well be a year ago. 3 months ago… A life time!

Well that says it all. Most people have fairly extreme reactions to fascist authoritarian regimes.

Oh, in that case then! How are they studying it? Are they using people in their detainment camps as subjects? Just checking.

It’s still a load of made up bollocks.

Delphiniumandlupins · 29/01/2026 19:52

Can you give any examples of some good things Trump has done that we can calmly discuss?

Carpediemtoday · 29/01/2026 19:26

Some of the things people come out with. Have you read what you have written. You would seriously prefer Putin. OMG!

Putin likes dogs and doesn’t shoot puppies.

so he’s preferable to Noem at least. And she’s a Trump crony so…

It’s an insult aimed at Trump’s detractors. It is not a recognised medical condition, any more than Biden Derangement Syndrome is.

Yes, 100%. I'm not sure that it will even be possible to accurately catalogue the full extent of the damage he has caused, in the end.

ThereAreOnlyShadesOfGrey · 29/01/2026 19:55

I mean this is clearly a goadie thread.

Nobody is going to start a serious pro trump thread and not know that they’re not going to get any support.

Pallisers · 29/01/2026 19:55

He has done more in his first year than Biden achieved in 4 years. Anybody remember what he achieved after 4 years?

The most comprehensive investment in infrastructure with the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act) 2021.

Health care subsidies that made health care affordable for working class americans (now gone - people are dropping their health insurance)

An economy that was the envy of the world. According to The Economist (not known for its left-leaning stance)

What exactly has Trump done? What specific promises has he delivered on? getting rid of vaccines maybe?

I live in the US so I probably have more skin in the game than you do. Although the decimation of american excellence in science and the america's pivot toward Putin and away from western democratic Europe will have downstream impacts that effect everyone.

Well it's none of my business who people of another nation vote for. I'm just watching and praying 🙏 for the Iranian people.
