The Paris prosecutor's office said a search was underway at the French offices of Elon Musk's social media network X on Tuesday as part of an investigation opened in January 2025.

The prosecutor's cybercrime unit was conducting the searches, it added in a post on X, with Europol also involved and the support of the French police's own cybercrime unit.

I saw something about Russia using Starlink to operate Russian drones in Ukraine. Musk says it's "fixed now" They have sent out emails to do a password change or something.

I saw on RTE that a US Senator involved in the Good Friday agreement has been erased in Ireland over Epstein. Bust removed from a University and so on. So there are Americans being hit, just not in America it seems.

So it really comes down to whether our delightful press in the UK choose to cover the strength of the ongoing connections between Epstein, Bannon & Trump and the serving MP Nigel Farage, or to basically ignore these while making as much noise as possible about a sacked ambassador.

I have limited news, and I think the coverage I have seen is ok, but TBH, I tend to concentrate of Trump and world stuff. I don't expect much about Trump. Not unless the feds missed it with their redacting pen.

This is absolutely insane: DHS claims the right to subpoena your emails and to send investigators to your house. In this case, because a retiree sent the mildest possible criticism to a prosecutor. No judges involved.

The government is claiming the right to compel organizations like Google to provide this sort of personal information without asking a judge for permission.

Investigators told their target that the subpoena did not include "emails, documents, photos...but the breadth of what federal investigators did ask for shook him." And the Trump administration is doing this at unprecedented rates.
