Just out of curiosity, did anyone mark his start time on this speech?

LlttledrummergirI · 21/01/2026 14:19

Iceland lost him loads of money.

Keep up the good work Iceland.

ZoeHS · 21/01/2026 14:20

LlttledrummergirI · 21/01/2026 14:18

You'd be wrecked in 20 minutes.

I wouldn’t even give it 20 🤣

the80sweregreat · 21/01/2026 14:21

I think that he started at 2 , but it feels a lot longer.

No, I've only seen 10 mins and I want to punch the arrogant piece of shit already. I know now why I could never be a diplomatic, dealing with that would make me feel dirty.

Thank fuck I go back to work soon.

Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 21/01/2026 14:22

@AcrossthePond55, @TokyoSushi posted on the last thread, “he’s on” at 15:41 Central European Time. So about 40 minutes so far.

PickAChew · 21/01/2026 14:22

AUTOPEN!

Serpentstooth · 21/01/2026 14:22

Is there a time limit on this guff ? My blood pressure can't take much more and I want to outlast him and dance on his grave.

the80sweregreat · 21/01/2026 14:23

Oh was it 1.40? Last nights speech was 1.45 or something I think. I bailed after 30 minutes

LlttledrummergirI · 21/01/2026 14:24

The BBC isn't showing the audience, but he just paused at 90% reduction in drugs cost, but by another calculation its 600%.

I think someone laughed at him.

BruceAndNosh · 21/01/2026 14:24

I can't believe they didn't arrange a trap door under his podium

JoshLymanSwagger · 21/01/2026 14:24

AcrossthePond55 · 21/01/2026 14:17

In my imagination the audience starts to quietly whistle the Col Bogie March then a rising crescendo as they one by one, then two by two, three by three, start marching out.

I've started to whistle...thought this was worth repeating.

PerkingFaintly · 19/01/2026 17:26
Funny you should mention wee ditties. I've had this one in my head for a while:
🎶
Putin has only got one ball,
Donald has two but very small,
JD's are more like ladies',
And Nigel Farage has no balls at all... 🎶

He keeps stumbling over numbers.

AcrossthePond55 · 21/01/2026 14:25

He is obviously riffing. He's not going to stop until he runs out of steam. And that was almost 2 hours yesterday.

BruceAndNosh · 21/01/2026 14:25

Please don't clap when he finishes. which might be at 6pm at this rate
God help the poor translators trying to make sense of this

PickAChew · 21/01/2026 14:26

🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅 Time

Don's gone to Iceland again.

They really just need to UPS him to Dignitas.

the80sweregreat · 21/01/2026 14:26

The translators deserve a medal.

RedTagAlan · 21/01/2026 14:26

ZoeHS · 21/01/2026 14:14

🤣 imagine.

If it wasn’t 2 in the afternoon and I have the school run soon, I’d crack open a wine and take a drink every time he says “big, beautiful…”

Lucky for me its 10:30 pm... so I cracked the beer open :-)

ZoeHS · 21/01/2026 14:26

“Watched him with his beautiful sunglasses” 🤣

Honestly, I am struggling to follow anything he’s saying. It’s like watching the amalgamation of a tired 3 year old on a random rambling and a bitter elderly person with onset dementia.

PerkingFaintly · 21/01/2026 14:27

Oh thank you all for the commentary. I couldn't put myself through it again after watching yesterday.

I feel I'm definitely getting the bestest most beautifulest version here... Grin

AcrossthePond55 · 21/01/2026 14:28

@ZoeHS

It's impossible to follow what he's saying because it's basically threats and gibberish.

All you can do is pick out soundbites to laugh or cringe at.

CaveMum · 21/01/2026 14:28

Nearly lost you all there!

Cant watch the “speech” (aka incoherent rambling) so checking out the BBC Live text feed and checking in with you lot.

Just once I’d like to see the people in these rooms just turn their backs on him in silence.

@TokyoSushi marked it on the earlier thread at 13.41
