I can't help thinking the utter shite Trump spouted about Afghanistan was a display of petulance designed to rankle after he had to back down. He is super petty.

Looking back, I see I predicted two days ago that he would:

My home town like many other cities, towns & villages lost military personnel in Afghanistan amongst other places whilst working with the USA & other NATO forces.

I didn't think that Trump could sink any lower with his Afghanistan/Nato soldiers comment.

If Trump now dared set foot in my home town then he'd be dead in 30 seconds because of that stupid horrible nasty pig ignorant comment - never insult & underestimate a bereaved family & community.

Though personally I would rather he rot in a jail cell for the rest of his life & think about why he's in there. Though unfortunately he's not clever or even modest enough to think about others.

I’ve just recalled that it was that Orange disgrace that organised the deal to let the Taliban out of prison and the armies leave Afghanistan. I know folk like to blame Biden but he set it up.
The fall of Kabul was horrific too - so many lives lost and even more ruined forever.
And so stupid and effectively making a mockery to my mind of all the sacrifices over the 20 years anyway.
