I know the thing is an old cliche, but I agree it applies to him, albeit in a sort of sophisticated way. How to get him to do something, but make it think is his idea.
And I reckon that goes back to Bannon. Bannon had Breitbart, and back in Trumps first term Bannon was determined to get control of Liberty Radio, and got it. Likes of Radio Free Asia etc then became feeders for Breitbart, and Breitbart fed the rest of the right wing media.
Propaganda is an armchair interest, and I used to trace the stories back. They often led to RFA, and at first it was the horror stories about socialism, to scare the electorate, but it started to change to the border caravans ( not RFA for that), and that's what Trump would start on about.
I can picture it. " Mr President, have you seen this? "And off we go.
I used work for a narcissist like Trump. And if anyone had a good idea, we had to tell him in such a way that he could claim it as his own.
And no, no foil hat. I just happen to live in a country with State controlled media, and one often has to try to figure out what the background on stories are. What is the aim etc. The irony of course is that very few people believe state media. But the Trumpsters all believe Breitbart.
I think the Government where I am would give a right testicle ( someone else's) for the same propaganda that Trump has.
And I am convinced that Trumps propaganda is used to feed Trump himself.
Re the foil hat. I concede to there might be one lizard :-)
