Brooklyn Beckham sends parents legal letter

I saw in the media that Brooklyn Beckham has had a legal letter sent to his parents requesting that they stop trying to make contact with him. I didn’t realise the talk of him falling out with them was real, thought it was just gossip. I think I was a bit shocked by it. Of course I don’t know them but they always seemed like a lovely close family.

I have issue believing him. We know nothing but I do know many people who have been isolated from family and relationships have broken down because they are in an abusive relationship.
For someone who apparently wants a quiet life, he's certainly coverting attention.

You can have an issue believing him. Who cares? He said how he felt in his statement. Do you always dismiss people's feelings?

He will be well used to people not believing him and not listening to him. It's how he got into this situation in the first place.

You're right, I don't actually care. I don't care about the other side either. My point related to the fact that we have no idea what happens in their family. There are plenty of people who are always a victim (and he is very much an adult now) and there are plenty of toxic families. We have no idea what happened here. Ultimately they are a bunch of vacuous rich people so really none of us should give a shit as it serves no purpose.

Funnily enough - she just announced this week - or actually BB did! That she is currently starring in a film she wrote about a ballerina - this situation will explode attention on to that - but like how Suits got attention years after MM left because of her notoriety.

N PB also wrote and starred in a film called Lola about 2 years ago - got panned - the Beckham brand reach would have helped then - but this explosive situation will catapult her media visibility and attention on her upcoming film.

They needed individual homes for the dogs, not money. VB has millions of flowers on SM, one post from her could have got many people to come and immediately take a dog.

VB refused to do the post. That is mean imo.

The dog thing I sort of understand because it's not very on brand for VB, and she is all about the brand.

The rest of it, I do belieive, he's always seemed like someone who was very close to his family and it must have taken a lot to go no contact, with or without his wife.

Agree 100%. And BB probably doesn’t care what others think/say. He just wants his side of the story out there.
I hope this whole thing is a warning to all those “influencers” and “celebs” who use their kids to make money.

Understand VB has reach but why is most of this on her? The dog thing seems petty as does the dancing ‘on’ him. If so mortifying why draw attention here? No one has footage.

I do agree VB is getting a lot more flack about this but I think that's alot do with the way his post was worded.

The full context is that LA was burning down. The dogs needed to be rehomed immediately and VB was asked to post something about it. As Brooklyn said, he’d always turned up to support his mum whenever she asked. His mum didn’t support his wife when she asked. I can imagine that would be quite annoying.

It seems that way, agree, but it all feels petty & unnecessary to call her out as a dog hater. As some may see it esp in USA. Are her socials mainly for business & family news? On surface easy to drop a line on plight of dogs etc.

I don’t see why this ALL falls on a woman & is seemingly ALL VB’s responsibility. Why is she singled out for transgression? Why can’t DB do a shout out about death’s door dogs?

But I totally get why he would feel she then prioritised her brand over helping his wife. It was hardly a controversial topic to post about.

Totally unfair on VB the dog stuff. Work is work, family is family - the two should be kept separate. Unfair of Nicola and Brooklyn to even ask.

Have you actually read what he said? He called her out about not supporting his wife by putting a post out about rehiring dogs. Nothing about dogs dying.

Also he does slag off his dad, when he’s saying it’s all about brand Beckham that includes his dad. Plus Brooklyn says his dad refused to meet him unless he went without his wife.

Yes. There’s shade on VB for NOT doing what was so easily done as BB sees it re: dogs.

Yes, you're right. TBH I hadn't realised it was specific dogs who needed real time help, more an ongoing dog charity, sort of thing.

This is N PBs take on the situation and her words not BB’s IMHO. BB has 16m followers surely between they can rustle up a few million more amongst their Hollywood friends - whos actual location and motivation re the LA fires was spot on. How would VBs followers (mostly UK? Out of US/LA?) have helped at all?

How many dogs in LA needed rehousing in the UK / out of LA - don’t think that would have been ethical or feasible for the dogs or their owners?

N PB - just used this as a stick to beat VB with (who could quite rightly been sent k be bandwagoning and virtue signaling around a disaster)

I agree. The slag that is DB and the core wrong ‘un in this dysfunctional family with his toxic behaviours from the beginning and through out - slithers away.

It suits the misogynistic narrative that VB is thrown under the bus and N PB a has fallen for it too.
