Brooklyn Beckham sends parents legal letter

I saw in the media that Brooklyn Beckham has had a legal letter sent to his parents requesting that they stop trying to make contact with him. I didn’t realise the talk of him falling out with them was real, thought it was just gossip. I think I was a bit shocked by it. Of course I don’t know them but they always seemed like a lovely close family.

Rubbish. DB is like a market trader - he flogs loads of different brands every day of the week. Think he made the most cash last year? VB has been desperately trying to turn a profit on her haemorrhaging vanity project and believe this has happened after tens of millions of £££ losses bank rolled by DB once a proper business strategist was put in place. Her eyeliners are flying off the shelf which would be a younger audience hence Harper directly - but also VB has exploited all of her children in the media for decades to keep DB brand buoyant as the proceeds of that feed back to her business.

I can't help but think the whole Beckham fallout has been masterminded by Posh 'n' Beck's ex-manager, Simon Fuller. He (and possibly the Beckhams) have seen how the Harry/Meghan débâcle has played out in recent years and now DvB are also adopting the whole 'bad news is better than no news' approach to it all and, as some others might have also noticed: there are parallels between the Royal Family (Charles, Will and Kate) v Harry and Meghan, and DvB and family (the other royals) v Brooklyn and Nicola.

From the Beckhams' and the Beckham-Peltz's / er... Peltz's (?!) perspective, it's a win-win for all: they all stay relevant for having a spat (it's ongoing and they don't have to do anything but stay relevant and in the public eye), so it keeps all those idle minds (the public) constantly fixed on their socials to see who's said what.

I call BS on it all. It's all been planned down to a tee around the Beckham documentary, DB's 50th, VB's documentary and his knighthood. Just like the younger son's older gf, who just happens to write music (he's just launched himself as an Oasis-esque musician) it's all planned and staged.

DB does make money from advertising campaigns. They tend to be long term partnerships / deals not “post on the gram” but he absolutely does.

however, the poster said they are shilling harper for £££££. David Beckham is not getting deals with Hugo boss and adidas because of harper.

DB just looks so slimey. Some of the things he said in that documentary that people just laugh about! When he went to meet the supermodels while his wife was giving birth. If you were BB that alone could send you NC. We advise women to LTB for less.

Not that much older? Plus they are aimed at the luxury market and plenty of rich young girls in Europe have that to spend. Plus you are ignoring her make up line, which is the now her biggest seller.

It's practical to register the TMs now (do you remember how Kim K had to change from Kimono to Skims?) even if she does change her mind. But realistically, she seems a bit of a daddy's girl who is possibly quite happy to go along with any management suggestion their team come up with. And cosmetic lines are big business, so it's not a crazy idea.

No not a crazy idea to latch onto the mega bucks business etc but also perhaps because they don't need money maybe she could be free to do creative stuff , and artist etc teacher and so on

Brand Beckham is well established.

It is not solely DB - the ‘Brand Beckham’ element involves huge visibility of VB and their 4 kids - they all are both the ‘glow’ and the ‘fig-leaf’ that for decades that have kept the slag that is DB as the fictional ‘wholesome family man’ - so that he continues to secure lucrative contracts with clean cut luxury brands.

Agreed - that this international HNW age group have a whole host of black tie events up coming in their social calendars for those type of dresses - from school proms, to 18ths, 21sts, Uni Balls etc. Also these dresses are now available to hire so the market is much wider - flogging a £30 eyeliner to privileged teenagers is just a gateway product in the exposure to the bigger brand marketing strategy.

VB has always been clear that her target market is older- middle aged women (her basically, albeit she’s now 10 years older) agree re the make up

however, I still don’t see how that means that harper on her insta is DIRECTLY earning them £££££.

Yet…They will be taking advice.

I think there are several different possibilities:

1. Brooklyn has finally figured out that he was parented badly and when it became clear to him that his parents don't respect Nicola that was the last straw for him.
2. Brooklyn asked his parents for money for his and Nicola's new home, David didn't provide it, this made Brooklyn lose face with the in-laws and therefore angry.
3. Nicola does not like her in-laws and forced Brooklyn to cut contact with them.
4. It is all made up.

I'm inclined towards (1), because I do think he has valid reasons to be upset with his parents and I can sympathise with being angry about the way they brought him up. If that is the reason, it will sort itself out with time. I think (2) or something similar is a valid possibility too though. In that case, I have no sympathy. I think (3) is unlikely, quite frankly. It just does not make sense to me. My brother's ex-wife did not like his family so he just came to events on his own, it is a complete non-issue IMO. I also think (4) is very unlikely, though I suppose it is possible, if the Beckhams are even more deranged than I thought.

Re: evidence for 3 - there was allegedly a similar theme with her ex, Hadid guy & IF so that might support. His fam apparently got very concerned. Thing is any incomer is entering a dynasty & in a Peltz pact - they provide Nicola’s money & he who pays the piper…

It’s a cautionary tale. The love of money is the root of all evil…At first the Bs were likely over the moon! The beautiful daughter of a billionaire! All the vision boards had come good!

I think that DB and NP are the nasty narcs and BB and VB the unwitting victims and enablers of their spouses.

I think 1 with maybe some added 2. Plus the story selling.

Thing with 3 is all wives / girlfriends get the blame when sons pull away so the ex boyfriends mother blaming her wouldn’t hold much faith in.

Now if he came out and said it then sure but also remember people grow and change.

They stoped dating in 2018 when she was 23 she is now 31 that’s a lot of time to grow. one ex’s mother isn’t exactly a trend of theme of grabbing boys from their mothers. To all intents Nicola seemed to get on ok publicly with V+D until the actual wedding.

4 is a very risky game because you would be turning the press and population against your own son and hope they would accept him back.

I think all valid re: points on 3 but the power dynamic & ££ in their - the Ps - favour. If you spend their dollar there are ultimately Ts & Cs. BB is part of their dynasty & ultimately that may lead to conflict & a clash of values.

True doesn’t mean they are not what BB wants however rather than N making him.

Same for any one who doesn’t have beckham style income dating the other boys or harper. Not sure D will let any boys near her mind 😅

A real fast google gives estimates of BB having a net worth between 8-10 million and her around 30 million.

So any carrots or soul selling will be to Mr Peltz. With his 1.8 billion.

I wonder how Mr Peltz really felt about the marriage.
