Come share your trivial first world problems. Light-hearted, obviously.

My daughter has a new year birthday. We have very generous friends and family. I am now the owner of about eleventy-million gift bags that are too nice to put in the recycling.

I have a streaming cold and forgot To buy any nice soft ruinously expensive tissues so my nose is slightly red from blowing with loo roll.

I’ve just got back from a miserable wet shopping trip to find that one of the items I went for and wasn’t in is now available to collect.

I’ve got half a bottle of champagne in the fridge from NYE but I’m doing dry January and was determined not to drink it but as it’s now probably flat or very near it, I need to make the decision whether to drink the ridiculously expensive bottle of Bolly and think fuck it to dry January or tip it down the sink and continue with my booze free quest ( as you can see from my user name I'm trying be teetotal but failing spectacularly at it 😂)

My Ocado delivery is running late

Drink it and add as many extra days onto January as you need to!

Good plan! I’ll start drinking on the 2nd Feb instead of the 1st, off to drink flat champers 😉

I was gifted a very nice boxed gin for Christmas. When I opened the box last night, to have a G&T watching Traitors, the security tag thing is still on the bottle.
It really spoils the aesthetic.

It was so warm this morning (17c) at 6.30am I had to have a last minute change of running kit and swap from a t shirt to a vest, what a faff.

The floor in our newly done bathroom shows up dust/fluff etc literally hours after I hoover a lot more than the old one!

My socks keep falling down

You can cook with it! And the alcohol will burn off 😀

My first world problem is that I have run out of gin. And it is cold and wet outside.

I've just picked up my new glasses from Specsavers and I hate them. They have a sparkly bit on the arm I hadn't noticed 😭

I can't decide which snow boots to buy for our ski trip...

We have no white wine left but loads of red and 17 bottles of Champagne (stockpiled Christmas bargains for a party later in the year.) I’ve already had one bottle of champagne over the last week, too tight to drink any more of it, I don’t want red tonight and I’m not going out in the rain. Tea for me tonight then.

I've had three pieces of homemade bread and naice butter because, well, homemade bread. It smells so good. And now I feel a bit sick.

I have just finished a book, and have too many new books to choose from.

I had to dig deep yesterday. Our car lease came to an end and we decided not to renew. I’ve only had to “learn” how to drive our other car which is automatic. The fuss!! Went round the block and was fine. Was playing on my mind for days x

I'm at my holiday home and coming back tomorrow, my flowers here are still looking beautiful but I will need to throw them away.

My word that really is a FWP! Mine in the same vein is that whenever we are at ours we have to throw perfectly good cheese away when we leave because it’s not allowed back into the UK.

Oh I love automatic! Never go back to manual!
