My daughter has a new year birthday. We have very generous friends and family. I am now the owner of about eleventy-million gift bags that are too nice to put in the recycling.

Love this thread, mine is that I’ve just got back from a totally amazing all-inclusive holiday in the sun and now I am cold and hungry. My wristband no longer works….

How did I not know about this product?

Mine is that I’ve for loads of food left over from Christmas and no freezer space.

I feel your pain I am currently locked out of one of my bank accounts and need to ring them to go through the security questions last time I had to do that when I lost my card it took 45 mins because I clearly got some of the questions wrong. Why has online security become so secure I can't access own account any more!

When you find it, buy all of it. It’s got this lovely gooey consistency and I now can’t eat the branded version because it’s horrible in comparison….

I’ve ordered some bits online. They’re waiting for me to pick them up from M&S and Mango. I really can’t be bothered to traipse into town in the cold 😢

Oh no 😂😂😂 that sounds awful but did make me laugh.

WELL.. eventually had to ring the bank yesterday because i had to re register and then it timed out so locked me out, the customer service woman, sorted it out and took me through it step by step, i felt so stupid,

I signed up for 4 months free Spotify premium, thinking it means no ads. First thing I listen to was a podcast....with several ads before it started
....and then the same 3 or 4 ads every 15 or 20 min.

I mute all ads. I find I can cope with the visuals as long as there is no sound.

My FWP which I have been mulling over for a month is whether I should join a second gym.

It is expensive (150 a month plus joining fee) but 5 mins away by car and about 35 mins walk. I’m not convinced the gym will be as good as I am used to at my current very old school body building gym (25 min drive and I don’t know anyone there other than nodding or odd chat if machine playing up). It is a very different demographic compared to the expensive gym nearby and I know of many local people who go there but I’m not friends with them (parents of DC’s peers from years ago when at local schools)
But I’m looking to increase my local acquaintances and I’m not interested in pubs/drinking friends any longer. There is also an ice bath, sauna, outdoor bubbly thing and steam room and loads of classes.

I have literally never had to reorder my planned weights routine in my current gym as there is so much equipment that if one shoulder press/ cable machine etc is being used, I just use a different one.

The money per se is not an issue as I can easily afford it but I do not like wasting money

I can't be bothered to set up my fancy new coffee machine and am having to struggle on with the old one.

Having lost 3 stone on the fat jab, my knees now press together when I lie on my side and I have to slightly adjust them to be comfortable.

I can't decide what I want for dinner. I live alone so I can't ask anyone

What at the options ?

Soup, curry / chicken in sauce, rice, chips, hash browns, kebab meat, fish or chicken strips

I had burgers last night but I don't want them again tonight

I probably would have curry and chips

I've eaten too much chocolate and now I feel sick

I also put on half a stone over Christmas and now my jeans are uncomfortably tight. A situation not helped by a) still haven’t loads of Christmas chocolate and treats and b)DD being unwell and therefore not in school so I can’t go to the gym. Hopefully she’ll go back tomorrow.
Oh and after claiming there was a supply issue and my new tumble dryer would be delayed until next week, they’ve now decided they can deliver it tomorrow so I have to do something about the dumping ground that is my utility room and declutter the hallway tonight so they can actually get it in.

I have 2 dark arcs at the edge of my vision/eyes after paying a fortune to have lens exchange surgery just so I don't have to wear glasses

We have snails living in our letterbox. I refuse to take the mail out because I don't want to touch them. DH takes them out (carefully) and puts them in the garden but they come back again.

Hence the mail only gets opened once a month or so. Unless the snails get to it first and eat it.

My water machine that chills, boils, filters and uv treats is not chilling properly.
