My daughter has a new year birthday. We have very generous friends and family. I am now the owner of about eleventy-million gift bags that are too nice to put in the recycling.

I forgot to buy an avocado so I can't make my favourite salad.

Finished my second jar of ManiLife mince pie peanut butter and they don't sell it again until November.

The WORST

I have to cut my toenails short before my ballet class this evening and I can't find my toenail clippers.

My new house is too big and now I feel uneasy in it

Smoke alarm beeping because low battery but my chateau ceilings are too high for me to do it alone. It’s a very annoying beep!

I'm desperate to get back to umpiring netball after the overly long Christmas break, but most of my games this week are outdoors, and likely to be cancelled because of ice.

It’s snowy and so DH has arranged to WFH all week. Which means instead of my planned lounging about all day as I usually do the first week back then just spraying some cleaning spray about just before he gets home I’m going to have to actually do something productive.
Just hoping school gets snowed off too so at least I can use that as an excuse to watch films with the kids.

Jeez, there’s some suffering out there…

My cans of juice aren’t cold enough and there’s not enough room in the fridge for them! I’m powering through and drinking room temp juice

I ordered a sale item on Click and Collect and didn't notice the collection point had inexplicably changed from my default store to one 30 miles away. I can’t reorder as it’s out of stock. I’m not excited about driving 30 miles up the A303 for an item that probably won’t suit me and will have to go back.

I’m awake as it’s half past midnight and I have jet lag . It’s going to be 32 degrees tomorrow but overcast when I want full sunshine

One of the legs on my coffee table snapped today when I pulled it out to clean under it.
There's now a huge, empty space where it normally sits. It feels weird and I don't like it.

My Pilates studio has just closed and the next nearest is 7 miles away.

My new linen duvet cover is a bit wrinkly.

I’m too hot and can’t be arsed to go downstairs to turn the thermostat down.

It's been too snowy and icy to drive over to Horsey beach and see the seals - and we're flying home today. DS is devastated, and I'm strongly miffed, I love seeing the seals.

My banana is too green and a pain to peel

I’ve brought a dress for an upcoming wedding that’s got gold accents, and the rings I brought to pair with it went out of stock before dispatch so I’ve been refunded, and o can’t find any gold shoes that I like to pair it with either and I am losing my mind over it.

I really want to get back on a diet but have to much Christmas chocolate left why do people have to be so generous 😡
