A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Idk.
There are less of them, but those who are left seem more entrenched. Its weird.
I read a post the other day saying that unemployment had not risen. I mean, come on.

Twisty may have a point 😬

Ha ha yeh I saw that! Unemployment has seemingly gone down 🤯🤯🤯 At this point they are just making shit up, much like Starmer et al

@twistyizzy utterly beautiful 😍

I'm struggling here as well with the Xmas clean, trying to motivate myself to do 5 mins here and there.

However presents are nearly all brought ,just need to wrap.

If it makes you feel any better, I have not cleaned, decorated or bought any gifts yet. I've started an xmas food stash, but thats it.
I'm hoping the dc ask for money 😂

Lies, damned lies, and statistics!

ETA: they'll have just changed how they measure it.

If someone said don’t use those builders your house will fall down and it does fall down a normal person would say oh yeh you were right, I should have listened.

But no. Anyway it’s their party, they can enjoy the fallout. It’s a pity so many are being impacted due to it.

I have never gone troll hunting or called "bot"....although been called it a few times! However I do now think there are either paid elements/party members. It is the only way they can go around swearing black is white. Many of the comments echo the Labour propaganda posts on SM.

They are really obvious when they name change too. The arrogance filters through.

That's the point, it completely ignores the impact and gaslights those being impacted.

Yep, and yes they were warned.

Well we won't see another Labour government for a very long time after this lot have finished with their epic fuck up.
No doubt the tory press will be to blame when they lose the next election, not Labour lies and ridiculous policies that don't survive contact with reality.

If they keep going like this I don’t think they’ll have enough story to spin even.

I’m kind of thinking it might be good if Starmer and Reeves are still in for the local elections, it’ll be interesting to see the impact of the budget on votes.

As much as people dismiss polls they find it harder to dismiss votes.

They just don’t see how obvious it is. Their personalities filter through and they just can’t help it. Sunday afternoons are popular for major laughs. Must hit the booze early.

Bigot tried to brush off the trouncing in her constituency as "there have always been historically tight margins" when the Reform candidate got nearly 50% of the vote Vs Labour candidate who got 20%. The interviewer rightly called her out on that and her face was fuming 🤣

But its that mentality that we see on here.

Oh they'll find a way to deny/spin/lie. Its already started. Notice how many of the MN lot are now saying that they won't vote for Labour, whilst still defending them. It defies logic.

I want Starmer and Reeves to stay. I want them to feel every lost vote, and dread every press conference. And I want those who advocated for them so strongly to suffer feeling like idiots for the full parliament.

Agreed. But I want them to stay only because their replacements would be even worse. Unimaginable - but .. those blinded by jealousy, bitterness, stupidity, ignorance… know no bounds.

Yep, also true.
I want to watch Starmer limp out of No.10 in disgrace, after a crushing defeat at a GE. Not slither off at a time of his choosing before the decisions he made have yet to truly hit the fan.

If Reeves went, Starmer would be rather stuck. Who would replace her? It’s probably harder to find a Chancellor than a PM.

Hmm.
My best guess would be Torsten Bell, Darren Jones, or Pat McFadden.
Labour don't operate like that though, so they'll probably appoint someone that we've never heard of, who used to work as a car park attendant in Burnley.

I wonder if being eligible for FSM means a family with less than £43,000 Take Home Pay or £72,000 before tax. Does that mean a Grammar School pupil in a one parent family whose Mother earns a Senior Management Salary of £70,000 should now be getting 'Pupil Premium' and free School Dinners !

The whole thing is completely absurd and deliberate, Reeves is 'laughing' at this and showing their disdain for such families and their aspiration These being the sort of families and have voted Tory since 1979 ! They are never to be forgiven for wanting out of 'their' Council House or for questioning the Labour Party.

Thus, Reeves is no going to make those who stayed 'Loyal' to the cause better off than the Traitors.
