How many biscuits do you eat a day, on average?

I'm trying to be healthy(ish) so stick to 2 these days, but I've been known to clear a pack a day of the really addictive ones, like Maryland cookies, or Oreos. I don't know what they put in those things but it's very hard to stop once I start on them! Anyway, I'm intrigued to know what the national average is, roughly!

None. I don’t buy them. I used to eat too many so cut them out. Now I don’t miss them at all.

letshavetea · 29/03/2026 15:27

None, they’d make me put on weight

Janesput · 29/03/2026 15:29

None, but if I am daft enough to let a pack into the house I can very easily finish them all in a day.

I don't eat any because if there are any in the house I will eat them all.

Ditto

ThePoshUns · 29/03/2026 15:30

1 or 2

GoldMoon · 29/03/2026 15:32

Zero I'm not a lover of biscuits , can have them in the house for others but never feel the need . Cheese however ...............

Forgottenmyphone · 29/03/2026 15:32

I don’t have sweet biscuits anymore; I’ve swapped them for popcorn, but I do have a couple of savoury biscuits like oat cakes with cream cheese or Jacob’s crackers.

LaurieFairyCake · 29/03/2026 15:36

The best thing about Mounjaro is that I can keep all non- nutritional foods in the house (crisps, chocolate, biscuits, cakes) and eat the tiniest piece and be satisfied. I usually eat 2 biscuits, one packet of non upf crisps, 2 lines of chocolate (third of a bar) every day.

DH has got chubbier though as he is not used to having all this nice stuff around 😂 as I spent years not being able to buy it as I would get sugar cravings.

Mounjaro has stabilised my hormones so I don’t get sugar cravings now, or not ones that can’t be satisfied with one biscuit.

Either zero or 15 - that’s the problem.

Me too

goingtotown · 29/03/2026 15:47

None otherwise I’d eat a packet. I keep them in the boot of my car for visiting friends.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 29/03/2026 15:59

I don't buy them coz can eat a whole packet in one go

fussychica · 29/03/2026 15:59

None but eat nuts instead. I do like biscuit sometimes but I'd rather have a handful of nuts.

CandiedPrincess · 29/03/2026 16:08

Zero. Never really fancy a biscuit.

stapletonsguitar · 29/03/2026 16:18

None, but only because I don’t buy them. If they were in my cupboard I’d be tempted to eat several with every cup of tea!

thetinsoldier · 29/03/2026 16:20

I’m more a savoury person…

sparebooks · 29/03/2026 16:29

None, they’re so dry! Cake or sweets though…

Nogimachi · 13/05/2026 21:48

I aim for two a day, but when we have a packet it can be hard to stop eating them so then none for a while…

Wallywobbles · 14/05/2026 05:10

None. Don’t have them in the house as nutritionally valueless. Black chocolate though. Better part of a Lidl bar daily.

ChubbyGroundhog · 14/05/2026 05:41

0 and this makes me sad.

Peanutbutterkitty · 14/05/2026 05:59

None. I just don't buy them.

MacDot · 14/05/2026 06:48

I used to eat about 8 a day but I have managed to mostly wean myself off them. If I have those dark chocolate liebniz or dark chocolate gingers I could still eat a whole pack I think so I don’t buy them. Or Jaffa cakes, I love Jaffa cakes but I’m unsure whether I’m allowed to include them on a thread about biscuits!

ShesRunningOutTheDoor · 14/05/2026 07:07

Sone days I just have biscuits for lunch. 😬

Honestyboxy · 14/05/2026 08:40

None. I eat them very very rarely.

InterestingDuck · 14/05/2026 08:44

Not my chosen indulgence - can take them or leave them - so I usually leave them

stapletonsguitar · 14/05/2026 17:28

I daren’t buy packets of biscuits because I would easily munch my way through half a packet a day. Instead I buy wrapped ones like two finger kitkats and allow myself one!
