How many biscuits do you eat a day, on average?

I'm trying to be healthy(ish) so stick to 2 these days, but I've been known to clear a pack a day of the really addictive ones, like Maryland cookies, or Oreos. I don't know what they put in those things but it's very hard to stop once I start on them! Anyway, I'm intrigued to know what the national average is, roughly!

I try to just eat 2 a day but I buy quite boring biscuits - Rich Tea, ginger nuts or malted milk.

If I buy chocolate digestives or Hobnobs I can't stop.

saveforthat · 24/11/2025 16:07

I don't eat any because if there are any in the house I will eat them all.

TappaMcFeety · 24/11/2025 16:08

None, because if I have them in the cupboard I will eat them all. Last time was several months ago, where I ate the whole packet of Fox’s Vienesse in one sitting!

Catsandcwtches · 24/11/2025 16:08

Zero - but I’m not that into biscuits.

Watchingthechaseagain · 24/11/2025 16:09

Is that how many packets of biscuits? I mean two in one sitting is a bit much, but in a day not so bad. 😉

CaptainMyCaptain · 24/11/2025 16:09

None. I eat nuts.

Idontknowhatnametochoose · 24/11/2025 16:09

None, more into chocolate

Lemonysnickety · 24/11/2025 16:09

Biscuits don’t do it for me. I could have a packet in the house and not bother with them, chocolate and crisps are my vices.

rafeal · 24/11/2025 16:10

None because it is totally impossible for me not eat any that are in reach.

Leakingconfidenceandrespect · 24/11/2025 16:10
  1. I dont tend to buy them or they get eaten too quickly, i do buy individually wrapped ones for dc packup sometimes but tend to buy ones im not keen on.
I swapped biscuits for crackers when loosing weight but have to make sure I dont eat too many. I also make a small bake once a week this week is flapjack which is mostly eaten by teen dc.
Peridot1 · 24/11/2025 16:11

Two every day after my lunch with a cup of tea. Like @BG2015 they tend to be pretty boring ones like digestives, rich tea etc. Anything more interesting I find it hard to resist. I avoid chocolate digestives as can easily eat half a packet.

WallaceinAnderland · 24/11/2025 16:12

I don't usually eat biscuits or chocolate. I'm not really drawn to sweet things. Cheese though...

RescueMeFromThisSilliness · 24/11/2025 16:13

Some days none at all, other days a whole half a packet. 😂

Runningismyhappyplace50 · 24/11/2025 16:13

I don’t eat any as I try not to have them in the house as often will eat them all!

HansHolbein · 24/11/2025 16:13

I could easily eat the whole packet. That’s why we don’t have any in the house!

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 24/11/2025 16:14

None. Haribo or fizzy laces are my vice unfortunately

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/11/2025 16:14

I don’t like biscuits. I do like crackers, cheese and bread a lot and can eat those all day.

TheThingsYouDoForLurve · 24/11/2025 16:14

None daily. Maybe eat a biscuit twice a month.

SerendipityDiamond · 24/11/2025 16:18

Either zero or 15 - that’s the problem.

TwinklyWrinkly · 24/11/2025 16:18

I now get the mini individual bags of biscuits, so tend to have one of those after lunch with a cup of tea, but if I am weak in the supermarket then at the weekend, I can eat a whole packet of Digestives or Rich Tea Fingers dunked in a large cup of tea! 😳

Wornouttoday · 24/11/2025 16:19

None, ever. Too dangerous 😇

ExquisiteDresses · 24/11/2025 16:19

Zero but I cannot have a multipack of crisps in the house so I totally get where you are coming from.

SelfRaisingFlour · 24/11/2025 16:20

None. I'm better off not eating then at all.

TonTonMacoute · 24/11/2025 16:20

One, with a cup of tea, except on fasting days (Monday and Thursday)
