Time for a no postage paid reply.

In Welsh.

PickAChew · 24/11/2025 14:37

A few roof slates should do it.

Absolutely fuming.

I received a letter in the post this morning from Reform. Lots of bollocks about how damaging Plaid and Labour are for Wales and how they are here to save our country. There is a survey printed on the back asking which issue is our biggest concern with mass immigration hidden in the middle of the list in a feeble attempt to hide their racism.

Not one word of the letter was in Cymraeg. 85% of my local population speak Welsh and 65% speak it as their first language. Feckin scumbags.

My work dealings with branches in Welsh speaking areas leads me to believe no Cymraeg is good way to lose lots of votes

In Welsh.

Wrapped round a large brick.

Spotted some rather extreme flag removal, this morning. The entire post, with flag still attached, on the grass verge some distance from where it had been standing, with a very bent small hatchback next to it.

Interesting. Apparently the only reason Lancashire County Council will remove flags is if they “present a danger to traffic”. On the basis of this incident then there’s a good case to be made that every flag is a potential danger to traffic. Grin

I rather hope that 'Mike Worcestershire' is just playing devil's advocate to wind up the pond life.
I'd like to believe that nobody could be that thick?

I have to admit I wondered if he was shit stirring because of his reply about them being musical notes.

Usually the out and out racists don’t admit it was nothing.

This lot (Durham CC) would probably conclude that the traffic is a danger to the flags.

Farage is Llandudno tonight if anyone wants to ask him anything in Welsh

I thought there was a stench drifting in from the North.

PandoraSocks · 24/11/2025 16:27

Remember Caerphilly Farage...

We’ve had the reform letter too. DH has posted it back using their envelope. I think there was something rude written inside.

Llandudno is one of the least Welsh places around north Wales. Lot of English have moved there for their retirement (no offence meant to English, just trying to explain the demographic). The average age in general is much older than most places so more chance of him attracting interest. He'd be very stupid to bother going any further west from that point.

That's exactly what I've done. With a rude note written in Cymraeg.

I wasn't racist in a hurtful way 😬

He's sorry they felt that way.

The best way to put those Nazi rumours to bed is to release a shirt. In black.

Are they just trolling now?

RafaistheKingofClay · 24/11/2025 20:08

Got to be. I’ll admit it’s not so much a dogwhistle as just a whistle. Or possible a foghorn.
