Stabbing turns out to be terror related or in a similar vein to incident to recent incidents that were related to immigration ? We don't know the identities yet of the perpetrators. But the fact the Home Secretary is brought in to comment in tabloids and the discussion on LK on BBC today makes me worried its a possibility. The poor people on the train - I cannot even imagine .. ..Starmer needs to tackle knife crime as its rife. What is the answer ? When is there a tipping point ? I don't know but something must be done - I've never paid as much attention other than feeling so terribly sorry for any victims and families. Now I'm starting to get angry when I see anything like this

Yes maybe, they do all enter legally not on small boats and don't turn up without passports or any other documents which helps keep the criminals out though.

I expect people arriving here by small boat would love that option. Unfortunately, from many countries, it just doesn’t exist.

Why would an arson attack be in the national news when there fortunately weren't any victims? I bet there's arson attacks daily up and down the country. It was obviously reported locally as the pp knew about it .

Yes they should be commended and such a swift response by the police too.

Seems very early to rule out terrorism - but presumably they didn't record video messages beforehand, ISIS not claimed responsibility or whatever, so they've not been judged ideologically or politically driven.
But then, what was their intent? I don't buy 'mental illness' - two of them planned this and the intent was to stab and kill many people who were trapped on that train.
If it wasn't terror, then we have to come to terms with the fact that there are evil, violent men out there who want to inflict as much damage as possible on innocent people - for no reason. I'm not sure which is worse tbh.

It may not be widely reported because it happened in Ireland but it is major news there because it is quite unusual.
