Thank you Caerphilly, you’ve made this old bird very happy this morning.

I am so, so happy and relieved. Reform threw everything at that seat, but Caerphilly still said no.

The result shows how wrong polls can be. Even the bookies had it wrong. Reform was odds on favourite with a lot of them.

Delighted that Reform didn't get in - but the scale of the utter collapse of the Labour vote (while not surprising) is alarming.
