Well said Sir Keir, excellent.

BIossomtoes · 30/09/2025 17:09

At last, a bit of passion. Poor Nigel, what a thin skin he has.

Sad Baby GIF

Farage right now:

Whilst I am happy that Starmer has rattled Snowflake Farage's cage, it is a bit pointless if Labour is going to continue to ape some of Reform's policies. I am hoping this might be a turning point.

placemats · 30/09/2025 17:21

At the conference Starmer: “Think about it- when was the last time Nigel Farage said something positive about Britain’s future? He can’t. He doesn’t like Britain. he wants to turn our proud country into a competition of victims.”

Ofcourse.

It also won't change the haters minds

Rachel Reeves is set to lift the two-child benefit limit in the budget with officials exploring options of a new tapered system.

The Treasury is exploring if it might instead be limited to three or four children – or whether there could be a tapered rate.

Performative martyrdom from Farage - aiming to rile up his supporters.
No doubt they will rewrite the speech and insist Starmer called them all enemies.
Perennial victims. You can't say anything without getting arrested these days!

Interesting you mention Newsom Jane. I hope they are.

Which was predicted over a year ago. Making the "rebels" look like self serving twats.

Hope Farright is feeling a bit put upon. Because he's not used to it and doesn't like it.

I wonder if Putin has got bored of him and is pulling his support ? (Or rather I hope the media can push the impression that Putin has got bored etc etc ....).

Farting mentions in his cry baby response Antifa and Charlie Kirk. He also used the phrase "absolute disgrace". Big mistake! I'm sure some clever people are already making memes and videos.

SerendipityJane · 30/09/2025 17:39

Just smelling the news (?) it seems someone somewhere in Labour has hit upon a very fruitful tactic - which sounds "high risk" but really is no riskier than their previous tactic of doing fuck all. Farright really doesn't like being in the news when it's not him that is doing the talking. And rather unwisely, he's revealed that it works.

I wonder if Boris recent spat had anything to do with it.

More please ! Every day.

Yes - he is remarkably thin skinned for a cunt.

Aww, Nigel . Let me correct that for you.

It's insightful language.

Beautiful 🤣

Great speech. Relieved to see labour finally being labour.

It must have hit the spot with Nige's crocodile tears and Kemi calling it "unpatriotic"

PandoraSocks · 30/09/2025 17:44

How would Farage cope with the travails of being PM? Would we have daily X live videos of him Snowflaking all over the place?

A decent puppet satire program would have a scene where Nige and St. Kemi are elbowing each other out of the way to be the most upset.

PandoraSocks · 30/09/2025 17:45

St.Kemi can say what she likes, nobody cares. Tick-tock, Kemi, tick tock.

I didn't want to draw attention to the fact it's puppet show, then St. Kemi. (That's either topical or a golden oldie depending on your relationship with Spinal Tap).

PickAChew · 30/09/2025 17:50

Kemi would give up all too quickly. She is incapable of putting on a good show.

placemats · 30/09/2025 18:30

That was an excellent and exciting conference, full of confidence and most certainly a resurgence of good faith and loyalty.

Good times are ahead.

LlttledrummergirI · 30/09/2025 18:35

I'm glad they are doing something for students.

Ds1 left with £115,000 worth of student debt (5 year course, full loan in London). If they could see their way to reducing that a bit whilst they are making changes, that would be fab. Grin not going to happen I know

Odd headline when the first paragraph says “The Covid pandemic disrupted the “very fabric of childhood”, the UK inquiry has heard” and then says “Some children lost parents, grandparents and other loved ones to Covid. Some children died from Covid, while others continue to live with the “severe, and, for many, long-lasting” consequences of the pandemic”
School closures are not at all what disrupted the fabric of childhood. And there was no alternative. Enough teachers died and covid was passed via school contact as it was. Fed up with it all being teachers’ fault as per.

Had Mr Johnson actually taken notice of Covid before the third week of March, earlier restrictions could have brought number of infections down such that even one day a week of schooling could have happened in June or July 2020. The damage and disruption to children would have been less as a result.

Re-opening pubs and half price fast food was more important to the then Prime Minister and government.

So like the playground bully he is, it’s ok to incite/hate lie every time he opens his gob but throw back some home truths he whines & sheds tears how anyone even listens to him is beyond me let alone that party off brain dead muppets are fit to govern more than sweet shop I cannot stomach his gurning face as for the sainted Kemi she is an ejjit.
