I can't remember who mentioned yesterday the effect of swathes of the public giving up the occasional treat - a Full English here and there, but the Telegraph mentioned that Reeves will be down in the treasury - among no doubt a million other reasons - partly because people are changing what they eat, choosing zero rated foods in the supermarket over others. It just seemed like another - almost invisible example - that even the smallest of changes, multiplied across many households, is important to the economy.
Additionally, I'm a Northern outlier, breakfast, lunch and dinner here. I'd get my coat but of course I won't wear it because it's not snowing 😉
