Is this rapture related? 🤨

Is this rapture related? 🤨

I've no idea what that means. Except Blondie - great early punk rap.

Notonthestairs · 23/09/2025 16:27

Tiktok prediction of today’s rapture.
agree Blondie was excellent.

Yes deranged.

countrygirl99 · 23/09/2025 17:23

What time is the rapture? Have I missed it and does that mean I'm going to hell? I'm off on a bucket list trip Thursday and I'll be well annoyed with god if it's not happening.

Notonthestairs · 23/09/2025 17:30

10pm GMT. Still time to put your out of office on. Not enough time to get your post redirected.

countrygirl99 · 23/09/2025 17:43

My bedtime. I guess I'll finish off this bottle of wine just in case.

Goldenbear · 23/09/2025 18:03

The BBC news website has covered and Ed Davey speech at the Lib Dem conference- can't believe Farage is not on their today.

Goldenbear · 23/09/2025 18:03

An not "and"

Piggywaspushed · 23/09/2025 18:06

Farage has just been bumped by Trump for the day.

Trump's comments are all the d words : disgusting, despicable, despotic, deranged, deluded.

What he said about Khan is abhorrent.

Calling climate change a 'con job? WTAF?

The best way to keep Farright out of power is to allow the press to run riot reporting on Trumps actions.

Every time someone on MN posts something about Trump and vaccines, just remind people how far up his arse Farright is. We know how touchy Trump is, and poor ol' Nige will have to squirm between two stools. A word that seems almost invented for the occasion.

Piggywaspushed · 23/09/2025 18:16

Anyone else watching BBC News now. The tone of the report on asylum hotels is appalling.

Piggywaspushed · 23/09/2025 18:19

To clarify, not so much the report itself (which - hmm- contains lots of women and children!) as Raworth's introduction to and summary of it, or whoever wrote it.

Would be senseless to waste it!

There is certainly a reason why they gave Dr Malhotra a platform at the Reform Conference.

TRUMP THAT FORAGE

Karistyleaftea · 23/09/2025 19:05

@Piggywaspushed There really must be something very wrong at the BBC.
In my opinion they adopt a sneering tone when reporting good things that Labour do, they poke fun at Ed Davey in a not so subtle as they like to think way, make side remarks and almost "salivated "at the reporting around Angela Rayner's stamp duty issues.
Where is the 24/7 reporting of Farage's stamp duty issues?

To cap it all when DH renewed the Licence fee today (GRRRRR)
the bloody site took the payment and then said licence fee payment was not accepted. Cue emails back and forth, calls to the bank etc etc.
What a nonsense it all is.

DuncinToffee · 23/09/2025 19:07

Katie Hopkins has been arrested and questioned by Police under caution for her broadcasts on Twitter.

She could go to prison if she is charged and convicted, and so could Tommy Robinson in a few weeks as he faces yet another trial.

Good response

spokesperson for Sadiq Khan:

“We are not going to dignify his appalling and bigoted comments with a response.

“London is the greatest city in the world, safer than major US cities, and we’re delighted to welcome the record number of US citizens moving here.”

The questioning of Daisy Cooper by the BBC about Reform's attitude to guns was just flat out aggressive.
