Many years ago, I read a review of a thought experiment about how all poverty could be solved by taking all the wealth and dividing it equally in the world at midnight.
It suggested that after 24 hours, you'd have pretty much the basis for what you have now. Because not everyone would still have that equal share they started with. Because human nature would drive people to spend, save, steal gamble and pretty much be human regardless of wealth.
What this tells us I don't know. However I am always pricked when I discover that despite there being an internet and all the fount of human wisdom out there, it seems nobody seems to have read what I have.
There is a similar situation with the one time Nigel Farage was actually worth listening to. It was many years ago, and remarkably well phrased and articulated and totally and utterly ignored by everyone. It was either an interview or a debate in the early 2000s.
If I were in a mood to try and rehabilitate the cunt, I'd say that he did try and start decent political debate, quickly realised that the establishment was having none of it, and decided to join them instead. Because if you follow the logic of his questioning, it leads you all sorts of very progressive policies.
