Just watching the Miriam Margolyes programme about NZ. She visits a refugee centre where she meets a young girl from Aghanistan whose father was murdered by the Taliban. It's rather moving.

They did not say that. They said they won't rule out an agreement with Afghanistan i the future but will not hand over asylum seekers to the current regime.

nobody should be persecuted, attacked or the victim of any other abhorrent behaviour because of race or religion. Nobody.

There is no reason people cannot live harmoniously alongside each other and we deal with individuals who are problems rather than assigning decisions that someone is “bad” based solely on their birthplace - which they have no control over.

There’s a good article in The Times re the responses to Farages presser.

I hope nobody thinks that condemning anti-Semitic attacks in the UK necessarily affects views on what's happening in Gaza, but there are plenty of threads running on that topic.
