so he’s done a vow renewal after only getting wed in 2022 and none of his siblings or parents were there, just seems to have been organised by his billionaire wife’s parents. It looks like a very deliberate fuck you to his family. What can they have done to deserve such shocking treatment? It’s bizarre. And let’s hope the marriage to the (reportedly prickly, hard work) billionaire works, so he doesn’t have to come crawling back to Mum and Dad………

You’d think the Peltzs would have been slightly impressed with Dave becoming a Sir. Although maybe it rankles having Sir and Lady Beckham around.

Hardly- she's obviously the driving force behind brand Beckham and a very canny business woman. David alone would've done a few ad deals and just been a retired footballer on his own.

And designers who've worked with her say she's had high levels of input although obviously she's not drafting patterns herself.

A vow renewal on your thirtieth wedding anniversary is pointless enough. Wedding vows are supposed to be for life - no need to renew them.

A vow renewal when you've only been married three years is ludicrous. It makes you think they're the kind of people who were completely overindulged as children - the kind whose parents threw them a second birthday party if the first wasn't quite perfect.

Looks like a giant fuck you. Brooklyn beckham needs a job. I really feel for his family. His relationship with his parents might recover but his relationship with his siblings might never.

Wasn't there some issue about VB taking centre stage over the bride? So that she had the first dance with BB rather than the wife? I don't know...you read so much drivel in the papers... who knows what's real unless you meet them irl and they tell you. Or they write a book.

It could make sense if his family attended this seeing as they missed his actual wedding, but otherwise it’s ridiculous.

He's an unattractive, talentless man. The only way he gets his name in the papers is by doing something adversarial towards his family; this appears to be another example of that. I can't imagine what his parents did to deserve this mantrum, but if I was his mother I'd be very unimpressed with his behaviour.

There were rumours of VB hiring a musician for Nicola and Brooklyn's wedding but secretly arranging for the first dance to be mother and son, rather than bride and groom. I read that the bride left the room in tears over this. Also, that VB was not happy about the bride turning down the offer of a VB wedding dress.

I feel sorry for Posh & Becks; they come across as caring, loving, proud and supportive of their children. It is hard to imagine what could have gone wrong but it is sad.

I hope it's just a rumour that VB wanted the first dance with her son because that would be really crass and pathetic.

She and David should have put more emphasis on education and less on pap shots. Now their offspring are like youngsters who win a huge lottery win and no idea how to deal with it. Even rich kids need a purpose and their parents have fallen very short in that area.

I find her annoying and irritating and whilst I have no time for the Beckhams, I think their kids are important to them
However, this has all come back to bite them on the arse, they have been exploiting their children since they were born.

I don’t think the Beckhams are great parents though. They know all too well the downsides of being in the public eye - they’ve both had death threats at various times, including against their kids. Yet they still pushed their kids into the limelight from an early age, and given them zero chance of a normal childhood (or as ‘normal’ as possible given their wealth). Other celebrities have managed to keep their children’s lives private, so it is doable when they’re still kids. Then when they’re adults they have more chance of not being so fucked up,

I was so surprised at Victoria and David... they come from fairly ordinary families yet exposing their children from birth seemed to be the be all and end all. I just didn't think they would be like that.

They obviously don't regret it because they are forever putting out pics of whatever kids are around.

I think Brooklyn is quite a simple but sweet soul. It is clear he is just completely enamoured with Nicole. He is constantly saying “my wife this” / “the missus that”.

Nicole by all accounts is not a very nice person. Look up how she treated her nannies. Unsurprisingly, as the child of a billionaire, she is a spoilt brat. She has obviously taken some sort of offence and has nothing better to do than play childish games. And Brooklyn is just a sap who backs his wife all the way

Absolutely agree. He married for money… how greedy must you be to do this when your own parents are millionaires?… and she married for his name. She may have been well known before but she’s proper famous now.

That's what I thought. I wonder if it was also the start of rift with his family, so maybe has negative connotations for them now. They wanted a special separate secret-not-secret wedding excluding the Beckhams to cause maximum pain. What a pair.
