so he’s done a vow renewal after only getting wed in 2022 and none of his siblings or parents were there, just seems to have been organised by his billionaire wife’s parents. It looks like a very deliberate fuck you to his family. What can they have done to deserve such shocking treatment? It’s bizarre. And let’s hope the marriage to the (reportedly prickly, hard work) billionaire works, so he doesn’t have to come crawling back to Mum and Dad………

I reckon VB and NP don't get on, VB likely upset NP around the time of their wedding, they tried to reconcile but obviously failed and now they are redoing the wedding on their own terms to have good memories. My former MIL did exactly that, caused serious upset and our relationship never recovered, my STBExH also stopped contact with her over time, although I never demanded this, he came to his own conclusion. Some people are vile even if they look absolutely fine, we'll never know the truth.

Nicola landed on her clumpy shoed feet when she snapped up poor a picnic short of a curated sandwich Brooklyn. She had failed spectacularly at her acting career, apart from her Raspberry award, or is it awards, but latching on to a Beckham has given her as much publicity she could only have dreamed of.

I don’t think the Beckhams have much to worry about, they will get him back eventually, if not soon, only slightly damaged, and the main focus will be how the hell to get rid of all his Nicola themed tattoos. the eye one is particularly disturbing, luckily on his back so he doesn’t have to see it every time he gets undressed.

Yes, but they encouraged that narcissism. I know people who've worked with VB how she's always ranted about how useless Brooklyn is - maybe if she'd just left him find his own way rather than live up to ludicrous standards it could have been very different. Rather than saying don't be silly Brooklyn, you're not a great photographer managed to wangle him a place at Parson's in NY alongside seriously fantastic students, then an internship with Rankin and a book deal. For all three he was mocked mercilessly (and deservedly).

Then when he one day makes some toast, Posh goes all guns blazing into "helping" him become a chef. No discussion even about maybe going to cookery school first and seeing how it worked out ... It's so misguided.

It was a total publicity stunt. Who renews their vows with only their parents there and sells it to the tabloids. It was to make sure they got into the papers.

Yes. I do feel bad for the Beckhams because i doubt they did what they did because they hated their kids. They thought they were making sure they didn't have to work like they did and thought they were giving them a helping hand in their potential future careers as celebs. Instead they have exposed them to constant mocking because they have all turned out to be average.

I also think BB and NP look happy at their vow renewal - certainly a lot more relaxed and in their element than at their wedding. They've been together 6 years, that's a long time considering they were pretty young when they got together. I don't think it's a marriage for life and suspect NP will have her head turned at some point as they will realise they are mismatched, but I don't think this will happen anytime soon. BB will probably return to his family then. I think DB in particular seems upset with the situation and tries to rectify it, he'll probably succeed in the future, but as for VB I'm not sure.

The trouble with David and Victoria is that neither of them are very intelligent. Yes, they made a lot of money but intellectually there’s not a lot going on with either of them. The kids probably never had any meaningful conversations with their parents (‘are we holidaying on the yacht?’ doesn’t count), no importance on being curious about the world outside of what holiday destination they were in, no learned skills as children, despite the world’s best educators at their disposal (no second language, no musical instruments, not even cooking). The world was (is?) their oyster yet more ordinary kids have taken up these skills to great levels. D&B wasted their kids childhoods on vacuous purpose-free nonsense. To the kids’ credit though they don’t appear to take drugs or are violent or trouble makers. At heart they are probably good but unmotivated kids.

Seriously if my 'fashion designer' millionaire MIL turned up to my wedding in her trademark nightie and with a mum bun with hair sticking out in all different directions, I'd know full where where I am in her pecking order and she'd not be at my future celebrations either 😂

It's because they came from ordinary families and then found wealth later that they've behaved the way they have. They spend money like it's going out of fashion and there's no emphasis on education. They're a slightly upgraded version of a trashy towie with a Sir title now.
