A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. Labour isn't working!

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I’m giving up tussling with that other lot since I was told to ‘stick to selling sheep’. 🤣🤣🤣

They have got progressively nastier as Labour have fucked up more so don't take it personally.
All they have now are insults and "what about Tories/Farage".

As far as I can tell, most of the Labour apologists on MN work in the public sector or, more usually, are retired from the public sector and have no work to occupy them. Being insulted by one of them is like being sworn at by a sad old ex-librarian Bennite granny on an Extinction Rebellion march.

Take it as a badge of honour.

It’s a bit like the Labour cabinet. Not much experience outside of politics or civil service. Angela Rayner excepted.

True. And with one or two exceptions they’re also remarkably stupid and limited. A government of 40 watt light bulbs.

I remember flicking through threads just after the last GE and Labour posters were falling over themselves to say how very, very clever and how amazingly articulate Starmer is, apparently because he used to be a barrister. Starmer is patently way out of his depth and is a constipated speaker.

The delusions of the left I guess.

Nice Hmm
I didn't realise you were a defector (so to speak). I hope you find us slightly more tolerant.

Not a defector. I tried to engage but out and out agreement and snippiness aimed at anyone not of a left wing persuasion are the main requirements.

If others are reading and scoffing over this thread, we should take it as a compliment 😊. Let's not stoop to their level and throw insults. Leave 'em to it and rise above it.
I'd be permanently angry too if I spent my days obsessing over Nigel Farage. It's not good for one's mental health in my view.

He lives in their brains rent free. He must be over the moon. All he has to do is sit back, occasionally say something mildly controversial and wait for the votes. All the time while Labour are tying themselves up in complete knots about him.

The High Court has ruled in favour of Epping DC. The migrants being housed at The Bell Hotel must be removed by the 12th September.

@derxa we love farmers ❤️
I am rural, have horses on a farm and am surrounded by farmers/farms.
Obviously severely opposed to the Farming tax etc.
Most Labour supporters have never set foot outside London/Manchester etc and would scream if they stood in a cow pat
