What did you eat today?

A few months ago there was a really fun series of threads where people listed what they’d eaten that day (and had a general chat).

I really enjoyed it but can’t find it anymore so I thought I’d start one.

It was really interesting and varied (it’s not a weight loss or judgy thread- unless the judgement is ‘that sounds delicious, what’s the recipe/where did you buy it?’). Everyone is welcome!

Today I’ve had:
Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, sautéed veg (tomatoes, red onion, spinach, mushrooms). And tea with milk.

Snack- Americano with milk

Lunch- Chicken salad (chicken breast, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, avocado, sesame dressing).
Followed by low fat Greek yoghurt with peanut butter, strawberries, nectarine and blueberries.

Dinner- Will be roasted salmon, homemade potato wedges, roasted courgette/tomato/onion/fennel.
Followed by a watermelon and lime ice lolly (I make my own so it’s just fruit).

I’ve just started weight watchers so it’s not the most exciting day (I’ve also tried to cut out UPFs as much as possible and use my points on high fat whole foods like avocado and nuts). I’m looking forward to living vicariously through other people’s treats!

Breakfast - 2 weetabix (m&s equivalent) and half a banana (rest was manky, I’ve accused that cat of sitting on them that dh doesn’t think I have any proof. Cat is looking smug).
l - protein shake, apple and some cold meat
d- chicken, rice, something vegetables.

DH produced a bag of homemade brownies his friend made for us. So that was lunch. Which meant I then had a very tiny dinner to stay broadly within my calories. And a protein shake. Not an ideal day by any means. But, I ate breakfast and that was on one of my lists to achieve this week.

S nectarine

walked 20 km hiking trail today and cooked a bit in the sun. Food intake appears to be mostly roasted nuts!!!

Today: normal porridge, with raisins

Lunch is wholemeal bread, cherry tomatoes and double Gloucester cheese chopped into little cubes because I'm feeling fancy.

Dinner- noodle soup with mushrooms and other bits of veg, leftover birthday cake.

Happy belated Birthday @MrsSethGecko !

Today so far I've had a bad apple which was disappointing. Plus 2 babybel light.

Got crispy chicken, sweet potato, rocket & edamame salad sprinkled with seeds, for dinner.

Lunch tbc.

The last few days I've been really focusing on whole foods, protein, and not too much junk. Feeling virtuous 😆

Can of strawberry oat matcha (quite nice actually)
