What did you eat today?

A few months ago there was a really fun series of threads where people listed what they’d eaten that day (and had a general chat).

I really enjoyed it but can’t find it anymore so I thought I’d start one.

It was really interesting and varied (it’s not a weight loss or judgy thread- unless the judgement is ‘that sounds delicious, what’s the recipe/where did you buy it?’). Everyone is welcome!

Today I’ve had:
Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, sautéed veg (tomatoes, red onion, spinach, mushrooms). And tea with milk.

Snack- Americano with milk

Lunch- Chicken salad (chicken breast, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, avocado, sesame dressing).
Followed by low fat Greek yoghurt with peanut butter, strawberries, nectarine and blueberries.

Dinner- Will be roasted salmon, homemade potato wedges, roasted courgette/tomato/onion/fennel.
Followed by a watermelon and lime ice lolly (I make my own so it’s just fruit).

I’ve just started weight watchers so it’s not the most exciting day (I’ve also tried to cut out UPFs as much as possible and use my points on high fat whole foods like avocado and nuts). I’m looking forward to living vicariously through other people’s treats!

I wish the heat stopped my appetite. I think the only thing that could stop me wanting to eat is actual death. Grin

It's the last day of our holiday today so I've just had caramel ice cream, strawberry ice cream, some fifteens and half a chocolate croissant.

B - banana
L - 2 x eggs with sour dough toast
S - a packet of crisps, a tunnocks tea cake, and two hob nobs
D - rice with miso mayonnaise and mango chutney

Breakfast: Watermelon and decaf coffee. Toasted bagel, cream cheese with herbs, bagel seasoning, a slice of turkey, mixed leaves, tomato, chilli chutney and smoked cheese.
Lunch: fish finger sandwich, lettuce and tartare sauce with chips. A pint of water and Pepsi max.
Dinner: Pint of water, cup of tea so far. Not sure as just got in from gym & too hot to eat. Maybe some bran flakes or beans on toast & another cuppa.

S Walnuts, Brazil nuts
Vegan raspberry ice cream and banana

Breakfast - 2 x banana weetabix with semi skimmed milk and a cuppa with just milk

Lunch - 2 small part baked rolls with low fat cheddar, a packet of pop’s chips and an apple

Snack - small banana and kids pack of raisins

Dinner - spag bol with salad and grapes after

I am on a bit of a health kick at the mo and this is not my every day kind of meals!

2 x coffee with milk

B - jumbo oats with whole milk, 3 walnuts, a fig and a spoonful of Zoe daily 30
S - 10 X almonds and square of dark chocolate
L - slice rye toast with spread of cream cheese, red onion, avocado, rocket, pickled gherkins and three slices baked halloumi
Tablespoon of greek yoghurt, chia seeds, banana and pumpkin seeds
D - 2 X small baked sweet potatoes, teaspoon of cream cheese, half tin of tuna, pepper, gherkins, red onion, cucumber, rocket and mayo
Grapes and a square of dark chocolate

Basically a really healthy day. Feeling very virtuous!

I don't usually eat breakfast, just have a black coffee
11am spinach and mushroom omelette, sourdough toast and butter
6.30pm teriyaki salmon, boiled rice and roasted broccoli. A yoghurt.
