What did you eat today?

A few months ago there was a really fun series of threads where people listed what they’d eaten that day (and had a general chat).

I really enjoyed it but can’t find it anymore so I thought I’d start one.

It was really interesting and varied (it’s not a weight loss or judgy thread- unless the judgement is ‘that sounds delicious, what’s the recipe/where did you buy it?’). Everyone is welcome!

Today I’ve had:
Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, sautéed veg (tomatoes, red onion, spinach, mushrooms). And tea with milk.

Snack- Americano with milk

Lunch- Chicken salad (chicken breast, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, avocado, sesame dressing).
Followed by low fat Greek yoghurt with peanut butter, strawberries, nectarine and blueberries.

Dinner- Will be roasted salmon, homemade potato wedges, roasted courgette/tomato/onion/fennel.
Followed by a watermelon and lime ice lolly (I make my own so it’s just fruit).

I’ve just started weight watchers so it’s not the most exciting day (I’ve also tried to cut out UPFs as much as possible and use my points on high fat whole foods like avocado and nuts). I’m looking forward to living vicariously through other people’s treats!

Protein pitta with bacon medallions, poached egg, mushroom and tomatoes.

Mixed berries with Greek yoghurt and chia seeds.

Tuna pasta salad.

Banana.

Frothy coffee.

Today:
Soda bread, strawberry jam

Salad- kidney beans, carrots, celery, apple, a banana

Tuna pasta bake and raspberry crumble (which seems to be never ending).

Toast with peanut butter and a caramel cappucino.
Chippy for lunch.
Chicken salad with couscous, rocket, red pepper, cucumber and parmesan, plus a balsamic dressing.
Fruit salad (two types of melon and red grapes)
4 x Viennese chocolate biscuits.
3 cans of Coke Zero

D: Traybake thing with chicken, peppers and onions. Blackcurrant ice cream.

Omelette with salad- kidney beans, apple, carrot, mango chutney

More tuna pasta bake. Cabbage, green beans. Banana and Greek yoghurt.

lentil and tomato soup with seeded sourdough toast
Juicy Marbles fake steak, with rocket and watercress, tomato and avocado and a few potato wedges

B: Crumpet with raspberry jam
L: Half a Sicilian chicken meatball rice bowl from Leon, a few waffle fries
D: Cod with butternut squash, spinach, potatoes and a white wine and lemon sauce, at Miller & Carter.

Cheese and ham sandwich on sourdough, packet of Roysters and some strawberries

Homemade beef chilli, rice and tortilla chips
A fruit pastille lolly and 3 triangles of a Toblerone

And finally the last of the tuna bloody pasta bake, cabbage and carrots.

3 glasses of wine.

Had a day off but also saw a video of me and was quite upset how big I looked. I’ve been snacking less and running so thought I would have lost a few pounds. Charging my fit bit now and starting to properly track
