What’s your first world problem today?

I need to read some other people’s first world problems so I feel better about myself 🤣

Mine is that this is the first year in 12 years we haven’t been able to afford to go on our yearly few nights away. We usually do 4 nights in Cornwall, we’ve gone at least once a year since I was a child and now I’ve carried it on for my own kids; but the rise in prices in bills, childcare and food has left us pretty breadline now and we just cannot afford to go away. I know how it sounds too, it’s soooo trivial and ‘woe is me’ but I can’t help but feel sad.. no holiday for us! 🤣

so please tell me your trivial issues today!

I need to go out and buy a geranium, but I can't be bothered 😬

mismomary · 14/06/2025 16:34

Horrible stinking cold and not quite yet for my next lemsip.

3peassuit · 14/06/2025 16:36

Where to place my new garden swing. DH and I can’t decide.

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 14/06/2025 16:43

I just saw a lovely cotton-linen blend duvet cover set in a colour I really like and it's not available for home delivery and is only available at a branch a long way away from me. Hmph!

Natsku · 14/06/2025 16:43

OH cut the grass the other day except for where I set up a little obstacle course for DS so now the obstacle course is completely overgrown by grass and dandelions so he won't use it because the grass tickles his legs.

I could just get the strimmer out and deal with it but that seems like effort.

Tooty78 · 14/06/2025 16:45

AXS keep sending me emails telling me my tickets for an event I am going to next month are in my AXS app. They are not, it is so frustrating as when I contact through chat they keep saying have you checked you have given the correct email. They are sending me emails on.my.email!!!!!
I wish I had gone the old fashioned route and paid on the gate, on the day, but I never had this much trouble using Ticketmaster.
Oh well another week next week, trying to get an answer on one their many platforms.

Already grown that extent?

oh I love getting the strimmer out so I wouldn’t hesitate!

I can’t decide whether to have my chicken dhansak mild or medium.

BlueSkiesInJuly · 14/06/2025 16:46

I've spent most of today horizonatal and have no idea why. I'm just exhausted. Think blood pressure might be low but cba to find the machine.

FrodoBiggins · 14/06/2025 16:47

Hungover from too much free champagne 😂

ohyesido · 14/06/2025 16:48

My parrot decimated the sliced apple I tried to feed him

MiloMinderbinder925 · 14/06/2025 16:49

I paid someone to paint my kitchen and it was the wrong colour. I discovered that he hadn't stirred the paint🙄So I now need to get more paint, nearly £100 and pay someone to repaint. I'm very annoyed.

iamgoingthere · 14/06/2025 16:49

I forgot to take the wash out of washing machine when it was sunny earlier - it now smells and it’s also raining lightly, thunderstorm in the air.

Meadowfinch · 14/06/2025 16:50

My washing machine has started leaking and the engine warning light just came on in the car,

🙄

Echobelly · 14/06/2025 16:50

I have to drive both ways to and from Surrey (from North London) for a party because DH has had a minor surgery on his neck and realised he still can't move his head as much as he needs to drive. We are at least staying over, so I can have some drinks tonight.

BeFluentNavyBee · 14/06/2025 16:51

Ooh, I have one! Bought a summer M&S beauty bag at an inflated price on Vinted. Accepted the order because it had the tag on, so couldn't have been opened, to find that the Estée Lauder Youth Power Creme is missing 😢

Rinkali · 14/06/2025 16:52

It’s the URC (rugby) final and I can’t decide whether I want Leinster or Bulls to lose, but unfortunately one of them has to win.

Squirrelsnut · 14/06/2025 16:52

I'm slightly annoyed the bottle of organic jojoba oil I ordered was much smaller than expected.

101Alsatians · 14/06/2025 16:53

I spent a lovely Friday evening outside having cocktails and a catch up with my brother and now my legs are covered with 20+ mosquito bites which are driving me nuts.

catlovingdoctor · 14/06/2025 16:53

The curry I had at lunch with my friend didn't have quite as much lamb as I'd have liked.

dontcomeatme · 14/06/2025 16:58

I bought 2 packs of 3 little baskets to organise my larder. I have 1 spare basket and it's just sitting looking at me all sad cause I have no where to put it

MandarinsAreNotTheOnlyFruit · 14/06/2025 17:03

@101Alsatians have you tried hot-spooning them? I find it is the only thing that works. Get a mug of hot water - as hot as you can stand, but NOT hot enough to burn. Put the spoon in it, then put the spoon on the bites.

MandarinsAreNotTheOnlyFruit · 14/06/2025 17:03

Sorry, NOT hot enough to burn!!

(I managed to correct my previous post, just in case anyone injured themselves!)

MandarinsAreNotTheOnlyFruit · 14/06/2025 17:04

I ate too many delicious cheese scones, and now don't want my dinner.

I've lost an earring. It's gold, though. Proper gold.

Kim, there’s people that are dying!
