Going on holiday today everyone is very excited . I'm shitting it at the same time though.

I need to get to Liverpool street station. My original thought is to get the bus all the way there I think it said 1hr 20 min. Or I could get a train with 2 changes which would take me about half the time. But once im on the bus I don't have to worry . So maybe I should stick to that.

As we are getting to the resort late about 10.30pm will there be any food available? Just snacks or something. We are all inclusive which includes main meals, snack s drinks

You will easily find the Chinese owned shops - they have loads of stuff outside like sun chairs, beach stuff, household goods, tat stands etc. When you go inside they are like Aladdins cave. You will even get a cheap bra in there. 😊

Will your bikini top double up as a second bra?

That looks like a beautiful hotel and a really big . I forgot all the brand new bras I bought for America one time and ended up having to buy some at very expensive prices. Hopefully you can get something cheap or manage with the one you wore.

There's no hope in hell of me wearing a bikini its ok i can wash and research we are mainly pools and beach . So not wearing anyway.

Yeah I be ok it just pissed me off 😅

I travel fairly regularly and not sure what people mean by the Chinese shops?! I feel like I’m totally missing out on these.

Mostly found in Spain and Canaries. They are big (huge) outlets that sell everything from needles to haystacks. Very inexpensive also. Some have more clothing and shoes, some have more garden and household, but they all have a huge selection of stuff you never knew you needed!

Well this is nice. Back home :

Ds 18 asked if he could house /dog sit . So he was doing Wednesday to Friday. Adult dd doing friday till Monday. For what ever reason dd decided to go to my house yesterday but didn't take her keys to my house. Gs fell sleep at mine so she decided to stay at mine and take gs to school from mine.

Only ds18 decided to leave my house at stupid o'clock 2/3am not sure but silly times he kept his phone at my house so adult dd could not get hold of him . Basically no pets = no school for gs

And also ds18 snake has gone missing. And now there is a madness going on .

1 night I have been away.

Switch your phone off. They'll be fine at home. Not much you can do about it under a sun umbrella anyway.

I know I'm just worried about the other pets

Give them instructions then leave them to it.

Snake has been found it was under the bed with the cat 😭. Cat is ok though. Very lucky.

Both the boys have a red dot on the end of their fingers i can't work out what they are. They came up to day

Why did gs not go to school? Could they not sort the pets out beforehand? No idea re spots , maybe they touched something hot or an unfamiliar plant.

Because dd went to my house without her key. Stayed over when she had not intended to. Ds then left my house early hours of thr morning with the only key . So dd could not leave the house as there was no way of looking the door.

Not sure what you mean by sorting the pets before hand.

Maybe i didn't write it well. Not sure .. no spare at the house. I have a key . Ds has a key dd has a key she just didn't take it when she wentvti my house. Day is over now anyway can't change it.

Have the kids been in and out of the pool a lot, and is the edging round the pool rough? I used to get similar marks on my fingers and toes when I’d spend the day at the outdoor pool in the holidays as a kid.

The stone edging was so rough - each finger and toe would have a small, round, red cut/open wound. A bit like a blister that has had the skin pulled off!

Spots could be contact dermatitis, have they been in the pool holding onto the edges or on slides? Could even be the sunscreen if it’s a new one they haven’t used before.
i would go into a local pharmacy with them and get the pharmacist to look, check the price of any medication first but often prices are cheaper in Spain than here.

I'm not sure ds9 has it on all his fingers ds10 only has it on 1 finger . I will see how much thry are grabbing at the pool sides tomorrow

It happens to my kids every year on holiday and it’s from climbing in and out of the pool.

The food here is shit 😅 I'm almost living on water melon and cake.

The heat is getting to us a bit so we have come to chill in the room.

Ds10 says he can't wait to go home. He says they tricked us and it needs a 1 star 😅
