I look fucking awful

I had some new passport photos done to day and OMG i look awful.
I cant send them in no way.
Honestly it looks like im in shock like someone as a gun pointing at me.
I have no eye brows and pale i look like a scared ghost.
Going back to re-do them any tips on what i can do so i look half decent.
I dont wear make-up but i think this calls for it.
And how can i look like i do have a neck.
My hair was all pulled back i looked bald.
Please any tips on what i can do for my second round of pics.

No way in a million years would I have passport photos taken of myself wearing no make-up.

The head angle is you keep chin neutral but jut your head fwd
Professional headshot peeps told me to pretend I was a turtle.

Eyebrows - get brown gel its not so scary and is buildable.

Separately dont be so hard on yourself.

Is there a way to do it so i dont look over done.

To a certain extent I'd say who is even going to see it?

Aren't you allowed to do it yourself? I'm positive my last one was taken on the phone at home - but did say someone else needed to take it to get the distance.

Then you could take loads until you got the right one. Could prob add filters so long as its just changing saturation, sharpness, etc.

The alternative is going to a photographer to get it done, better lighting and they'll get the best they can. My local advertises it for £25.

I had to renew my photo card driving licence just after an unfortunate pixie cut. I look like I’ve been punched in the face with a short back and sides hair cut. Unfortunately, that’s that same photo on my passport. I hoping to style it out saying, I had a bad day..:

I wear make-up every single day. It takes me about 5 minutes.

Foundation matched to skin tone
Under eye concealer
Tiny bit of highlighter on cheekbones
Dusting of translucent powder
Light brown eye pencil (am fair)
Mascara
Tiny bit of blusher
Very subtle lipstick

So easy to tint your own eyebrows, get the stuff off amazon. I do mine once a week as my eyebrows are blonde without

I doubt you look ugly, passport photos are never great anyway.
What about a bit of mascara and eyeliner if you don't usually wear makeup and don't want to be over done? Yes to the brow gel too.
Also the neck thing, if you use a bronzer under your chin/neck, it creates a great illusion. It gets rid of any double chins and helps jawline to stand out more. I guess you might need to wear a bit of foundation for that to blend in properly though..

I look like a crack head on mine it was a quick max speilman job.

Did you get them done in a photo booth? They are the worst and the last photos I had done in one of those genuinely made me want to cover my face on the way home so I didn’t inflict my hideousness on everyone around me.

I got them redone in a highstreet photography shop which was only a few quid more expensive and I just walked in and they did them straight away. I’m really pleased with how they look and I got a code and they checked they would be accepted online.

Look for some photo ready primer no idea how it works but it does!

@Sugarfish Yes a boots photo booth they are just awful.

Don’t bother buying brow gel if you never wear makeup. Just use a bit of Vaseline on them.

No one likes their passport photo. I look like I've been on a bender after killing someone. They get worse as you get older. There's no hiding! Maybe makeup is the key, let us know how you get on.

I have a friend who pointed out that if you look utterly horrific in the photo, anyone looking at you will see you as a vast improvement 😉

Dont use a booth!

Everybody looks shit on their passport and licence photos. You just laugh at them like everyone else.

You’re mean to look like post sunset boulevard Hugh Grant on a passport photo. Just be glad you don’t look drugs bust massive bun in peru

Go to Boots ask for them to do your make up, it's free they just try to encourage you to buy some of the no7 products afterwards.
