I look fucking awful

I had some new passport photos done to day and OMG i look awful.
I cant send them in no way.
Honestly it looks like im in shock like someone as a gun pointing at me.
I have no eye brows and pale i look like a scared ghost.
Going back to re-do them any tips on what i can do so i look half decent.
I dont wear make-up but i think this calls for it.
And how can i look like i do have a neck.
My hair was all pulled back i looked bald.
Please any tips on what i can do for my second round of pics.

I just never look at my passport and tell myself anyone who does I’ll likely
never see them again so I try not to care if they judge or silently laugh 😆

I think it's fine to have a dreadful passport photo; anyone looking at it will think, Oh, she looks a lot nicer IRL.

My whole family have really bad passport photos at the moment, and all in different ways.

My passport photo looks as if I’ve just got off of a long haul flight. I’ve never been on a long haul flight, but if I ever do, at least when I land I’ll look like the photo!

When i saw the pics I was pleasantly surprised as its uncomfortable.
but it seems to remove double chins and make your neck look a bit longer without looking weird from a front on angle!

You hold / pin shoulders down and sort of strain forward...

I just got a new passport photo too and it’s not the best. Like other posters have said all pictures taken in those photo booths are so unflattering. Make up is a must though. I had make up on, extra blusher and subtle eyeliner but I still looked dodgy. Would have been much worse without makeup 😅

Hair down is the answer as well as a bit of makeup blusher/bronzer will help. My child insisted on having her hair up and even her pic makes her look like a boy. The light is not flattering!

Actually, I went heavier on brows, mascara and blush than I felt comfortable walking round in. But the photo was great.

It's just like stage make up.

Haha I shouldn't laugh but even when I was a 20 year beauty many moons ago I looked like an ugly garden gnome in passport photos.
All I can suggest is say to hell with it which I do now or put absolutely loads of makeup on - think ugly sisters in Cinderella type makeup.😂

I don't wear make-up either. I imagine make-up wearers feel as odd going out without it as I would with it, So I would ignore the comments that say you can't have pictures without make-up. Of course you can, if you want to!

When my hair is pulled back I look bald too, but mine is curly so if I loosely pull it back you can see some texture and it looks better. Can you do something like that?

This reads as if you're implying that she should wear make-up because it only takes 5 minutes. No she shouldn't, nobody should wear make-up, it's personal preference.

I would have it done after a haircut if you are due one. You could also go to a make up counter and get someone else to put the make up on - might be good for some tips on what to buy if you want to wear make up moving forward.

You need to put on more makeup than you normally would, especially around the eyes. Like a Bride’s wedding makeup it’s done to look good in the photos. The current passport is the only pic I’ve ever looked vaguely human in and it’s due to heavier makeup and lashings of mascara!

Style it out to whom? I really don't think Border Control give a fig what you look like in your passport picture.

I don't travel well i always feel really unwell, so i always send in the worst pictures of me otherwise it won't look like me when i travel!!!

I wonder if this posture is advantageous to the appearance more broadly than in photos! I suppose the side angle may be problematic!

I always use a little of makeup for passport photos because I looking shocking with the photo booths pictures.

I just renewed mine online and you take your own photo with your phone. Just do one until you get one that's as near as possible as a non passport photo!!!

I just started wearing contact lenses and oh boy, I was nothappy to see what I really looked like 😅

i reckon the passport office wet themselves laughing when they processed my last one. I look like I’ve been on hard drugs for several years and as though I’m about to punch somebody 😅

Hair down, I’m pale so I find wearing plain white helps lift my complexion. Definitely wear eyebrow gel and mascara
