I look fucking awful

I had some new passport photos done to day and OMG i look awful.
I cant send them in no way.
Honestly it looks like im in shock like someone as a gun pointing at me.
I have no eye brows and pale i look like a scared ghost.
Going back to re-do them any tips on what i can do so i look half decent.
I dont wear make-up but i think this calls for it.
And how can i look like i do have a neck.
My hair was all pulled back i looked bald.
Please any tips on what i can do for my second round of pics.

Be careful about jutting chin out. My husband did this on his photo. we fly every month- unless he juts his chin out for the e-gate machine, it won’t accept it is him and he has to go to see a human!! 🫣🤣🤣

😂I would happily swap jutting my chin out at an e-gate to living with a hideous passport photo!

I don't see chins when I look in the mirror but when I see photos of me, ping!, they appear out of nowhere!

You’ve also given me a new hobby; I’m now noticing on website photos etc that people do do the turtle thing! It’s subtle but you can see them kind of leaning forward so their face is slightly closer to the camera than you would expect given their shoulder position.

I feel like I’m part of a new club! 🤣

They hide is what they do! Then, when you are getting a picture taken, they jump right out! In my case, a dozen or more chins pop out. I think they hide in my bra. 🤔

I feel you, OP! My passport photos are probably the worst pictures of me ever taken, no matter how much I try. The "no smiling" rule ruins it all, turning what could possible be a decent picture into a mugshot, and I take my own passport photos! Here is a guide on doing so if you need one, the biggest advantage of taking the photo yourself is that you get as many re-takes as you want to. Still not really flattering, but at least tolerable.

The only people who will see them are complete strangers for 10 seconds or so each time you go through airport security. You don't have to look at them ever again once you have your new passport. As long as they bear some resemblance to you just forget it.
