Agree re Netanyahu.

My MP didn't sign it either.

After annoying me on his abortion vote my adopted Labour MP is on the rebels' list. Yasin is back in the room!

LlttledrummergirI · 24/06/2025 14:27

Mine is the same. Pissed me off with his abortion vote, although he sent an email almost immediately with his reasoning, but is on the list of rebels. Hmm

Mine is missing too. He’s usually a good guy but I don’t think he has rebellion in him.

It's not a difficult decision to make if the imperative is to put your constituents first.

placemats · 24/06/2025 15:23

Two things:

It's not a rebellion

1000 a day applying for PIP does not mean they will all get it. Hate that Starmer said that.

DuncinToffee · 24/06/2025 15:33

Page 40 already, any title suggestion 🙏

Starmer: Now where did I put that Apocalypse?

ilovesooty · 24/06/2025 15:46

My MP has signed it. There's an interesting spread from the right and the left of the party.

I accept this point and also that he should put his constituents first. He has a very mixed constituency in terms of race and income (I know PIP doesn’t get affected by those things - or shouldn’t). But I don’t think he’s someone who will easily go against the hierarchy.

placemats · 24/06/2025 16:33

Starmer: Shall we fix the change? Maybe.

PandoraSocks · 24/06/2025 16:34

Apparently the Tories are considering voting with the government, simply to cause Starmer a political headache.

Yeah, "Starmers benefits cuts approved by the Tories" isn't a headline that is going to help much.

placemats · 24/06/2025 16:36

I have also joined the Co-operative Party. My little rebellion.

PandoraSocks · 24/06/2025 16:47

I am starting to think Starmer is in really serious trouble.

If only it was as simple as he quits and we get Angela Rayner.

Meanwhile my MP has got a drag queen act due to perform at local school banned from doing so.

It’s part of their pride month celebrations.

focussing on the important things as usual 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️

Oh what fun that would be on MN . Imagine all the Raynor (sic) threads.

Works for me. MN would implode.

PandoraSocks · 24/06/2025 17:05

Nope. Rayner is running around trying to get people to vote for this. She is dead to me, as is Starmer after the lie he told today.

I am now officially a Plaid supporter. I will never vote for Labour again with Starmer at the helm. I have given him chance after chance, but whipping up hostility against disabled people is the final straw.

Never say never - lifes too short.

However, in defiance of the views of some posters here, I'm quite happy to vote LibDem or Black Country Communion depending on the state of play come next election.

My personal electoral priorities revolve much more around keeping Reform or the Tories out than they do on keeping Labour in. Which is pretty much how they have been since 1987.

PandoraSocks · 24/06/2025 17:11

The only way I would vote Labour right now is to keep Reform out.

DuncinToffee · 24/06/2025 17:13

I have created a new thread, added cats for some much needed comfort

This Bill isn8n serious trouble. Not necessarily Starmer. I don’t think it hurts him with the party to back down for further reports.
