Thanks! Cat tax. Excuse a bit of my foot but if I moved it Perdy would be so offended that tax would become unrecoverable.

cardibach · 06/06/2025 13:11

Argh. Try again.

Thanks. Little Tennyson in furious mode after his visit to the vet last week. The vet said he was under the mistaken impression that he had a choice about the procedures. 🤣

I feel your pain. My Tortellini is on long term if not permanent allergy meds as of last week. Oral drops. It's a daily fight. I just hope she eventually realises that the horrible drops mean treats afterwards, she does love Dreamies.

Cat tax from a recent holiday to Greece. Went out to the pool one morning and found this little one fast asleep on one of the loungers.

Cat tax but nobody will be able to see the cat because she's so well camouflaged.

What was Tommy R doing in a restaurant? I thought he was in prison!

Thanks for the new thread.

Thanks for the new thread @DuncinToffee I'm sorry I've not been able to contribute much lately (I'm going through a tricky time) but thanks for all the insights. Cat tax attached.

@Cheguevarahamster - I like the look of your cat. Very imperial

MsJinks · 06/06/2025 14:51

Loving the taxes - no cat any more here and my daughter’s cat has just run away 😞 but these on here are cheering me up

To be fair, nothing in that exchange does anything to challenge the assertion that Kemi Badenoch is one of the UKs experts in business.

pointythings · 06/06/2025 15:28

Not political, but DS has applied for and been accepted for a lovely 1 bedroom flat in Plymouth, centre city. He offered a year's rent up front (yes, he is privileged to have that kind of savings) and snapped it up. So now he can job hunt and between earnings and his PIP he will be fine. I am delighted for him.

DuncinToffee · 06/06/2025 15:29

Wonderful news pointy

Excellent news, @pointythings and I wish your DS every success with his job hunt.

I hope things soon get less tricky for you, @Cheguevarahamster

BIWI · 06/06/2025 15:48

Great news @pointythings

Notonthestairs · 06/06/2025 15:48

Good news pointythings - I hope he will be very happy there.

In fairness to Badenoch (!) Liz Truss probably does still have a few followers within the Conservative party and they can't really afford to piss off any more of them. What would she really gain by getting rid of Truss?

BIWI · 06/06/2025 15:49

That interview …

<head:desk>

bombastix · 06/06/2025 16:01

DuncinToffee · 06/06/2025 15:23

That exchange tells you everything about what’s she like. Mason is someone she should be cultivating, instead she treats him like that

Starmer is right to bait her every week. She’s haughty and thin skinned. Awful

BIossomtoes · 06/06/2025 16:07

What would she really gain by getting rid of Truss?

Credibility? Hunt was interviewed on the News Agents yesterday, he has no idea why Truss is still a party member.

itsgettingweird · 06/06/2025 16:08

Thanks for new thread.

just place marking from old one to say o haven’t laughed so much in ages until “Kemi says reform are another left wing party”

My tax is a photo of DS new wheelchair from wheelchair services. 😀

No need for a personal wheelchair budget ?

bombastix · 06/06/2025 16:11

Badenoch had better be careful. The press are casting around for a new story which is nice and personal, there’s been two tier Keir and Nigel the King of Reform, and it will be her turn next.

The story is clearly intended from a Tory perspective to build her up. But the media much prefer a tear down and the way she reacts to a challenge is gold to journalists. Much more interesting than Starmer and flash Nigel

SerendipityJane · 06/06/2025 16:22

Badenoch had better be careful.

All she can do now, is decrease the quality of her own political obituary.
