MPs vote in favour of adding New Clause 1 to Crime and Policing Bill
The ayes voted 379, the noes 137, giving a majority of 242.

And voted against * *New Clause 106 to the Crime and Policing Bill.

Dr Caroline Johnson tabled the amendment that would require a pregnant woman to have an in-person consultation before lawfully being prescribed medicine for the termination of a pregnancy.

She’s a great MP. I think @grannycake and I both campaigned for her during the election.

My Tory MP voted against

@DuncinToffee mine did too. But it passed by a massive margin.

My MP voted in favour.
Rather shocked to see there are people out there who wanted women to continue to be prosecuted.

Ok maybe not shocked in some instances.

Local MPs all voted no, including the Labour one.

I’ll give you all one guess what my Tory MP voted!

Mine was in favour, which I expected. I wrote to her about it, but didn’t get any reply.

It's noteworthy that of the Tories who voted yes, a sizeable number are doctors.

Quite a lot did. The Muslim men, for example, but not the women. And not the Luton MPs. Also, Tim Farron, natch

Rosie Duffield didn't vote. Possibly just unavailable.

Tim Farron is at least consistent and sticks by his principles (even if I disagree). We know where he stands.
