Names that would be pretty if they weren’t already other things

My daughter and I have been talking about names that would be beautiful if they weren’t already other things (mainly sparked by me saying that MacKenzie wouldn’t be a good name because it is a surname). So far she has suggested Cathedral, Fajita and Café. I have come up with Cellardoor.

What do you think?

And the French version of Candida is Candide. I often wonder why some flowers are used for girls names, and not others. You get Daisy, Rose, Violet, Lavender, Hyacinth; but not Lilac, Tulip or Wallflower

I'm laughing at some of these suggestions! Especially Asparagus,Bonjela and Ebola! I have actually heard of someone called Candida though.

Being in my 59s I know a ton of Alexa and Porsche Mercedes etc. But I thought Harmonica was an inspiration for Cheyannes daughter in Supermarket

Candida

(I actually knew a girl called Candida many years ago. She went by Candy.)

There was a girl about 4 years above me at school (back in the dim and distant) called Candida. I always thought it was a lovely name, back then...

I love Pandora and Delilah, even with the meanings, also add Lilith and Jezebel but these are all already names.

Cherry would be mine, I think it would make a pretty name.

Cherry was the name of a girl in my class at school. That was a long time ago I'm in my sixties now

Just thought of more - Yellow, Marine and Hamster.

Satchel is a good suggestion from PP - probably because it sounds like "Sasha" which is a name.

Weird one, but if Vagina wasn't the name for female genitalia, it would be a beautiful name.

Now that I've just typed out "genitalia" and said it out loud, can I suggest that, as well?

I found this out recently. Apparently, unsurprisingly, the fungus was named as such because the cultures are white.

I think Amylase (a protein produced in your pancreas and salivary glands) would make a beautiful girls name.

Amylase for a girl.
Enzyme for a boy.

Tulip siddique!

Yep, Tulip Siddiq. But she isn’t a good advert for the name right now.
