Anyone following this ?
It’s disgusting and fascinating at the same time !
I really feel for cassie, heavily pregnant and reliving all that horrible stuff she went through.

Also, only Justin has spoken out. And 50 cent of course! Why is nobody else condemning him?!

They must all be at it tbh

I do wonder how happy Cassie is. She got married so quickly and had lots of kids, and has had to deal with this trial - it's a lot

She deserves happiness

With regard to his mother - I think you can get a sense of the sort of woman she is and her parenting from her recent appearances. I mean, she’s turning up to court looking paparazzi ready, seems to be focused on her outfits/appearance and getting a nice photo…

She is probably a fixer of sorts in that family. Convinced that her son can do no wrong, enabling him, and keeping up appearances at all costs.

I think in their social circles, they put women into different “categories”. People like Kim Porter are seen as wives and people like cassie are seen as “side chicks”. Therefore cassie was always seen as subhuman in that family, she wasn’t wife or mother material, she was just his lifelong mistress essentially. And this (the violence) is part and parcel. Plus I think they believe that Cassie went along with it for fame/money so she got something out of it. They definitely don’t see her as a victim.

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 17/05/2025 16:36

Agree that in the rap world, there does seem to be 'wives' and 'side chicks'

So weird and nonsensical

I wonder how much of his supportive family are fully dependent on him financially, including that mother of his

I'd have disowned my son after seeing that video of him beating up cassie, but that's just me, a sane average woman

I’m just reading between the lines - I think she met her husband when he worked for Diddy and he witnessed some of the abuse.

So she found a man who’s aware of absolutely everything and loves her regardless. Apparently his mother was a victim of domestic violence and he’s been vocal about being against that hence why he’s so supportive of cassie.

I think the fact they got married and had lots of kids quickly is just her living out her dreams tbh. I don’t think diddy would have ever married her or have kids with her because again she was the “side chick” so she was probably yearning to have a family.

Itcantbetrue · 17/05/2025 16:47

@657904I Just shows how low the exposure bar is.
My dd isn't kept from gritty stuff at all but those FO details would def be a step too far

I do hope she's happy 🥺

Yeah, maybe she just left that situation and gone straight into everything she's ever wanted 🙌

What an evil man that Diddy is. And the thing is, Diddy not wanting kids with her was the biggest blessing, she's truly free of him

Itcantbetrue · 17/05/2025 16:52

@mumofoneAlonebutokay perhaps but if you grew up seeing other men around you be violent maybe your bar would be low. I don't know if his mum did, her husband was in with gangster and git shot... It's all part and parcel.
But if you have seen your brothers attack women, your dad, your own bf attacked you the music you listen too is all about dissing women and using them luke junk the films the literature etc
It's your normal.

Itcantbetrue · 17/05/2025 16:56

I saw a clip on x of cassie and vile man walking into a hotel in Mexico for his bday party and she's looks so beautiful.
I've never seen her before or bothered with p Diddy I didn't know him or his music it's the thread and case urging me to look them up but wow.

Of course it doesn't matter what she looks like but in that world... How could he have been so vile
I was surprised the defence gave a funny line when she said she was 22 she was still young and they said something like you think you're still young at 22.
Stuff like that really annoys me because physically the frontal whatever in the brain is only finished by 25

Itcantbetrue · 17/05/2025 16:58

Her husband gave a wonderful statement about her and it was touching when he said " I didn't save her as its been reported but she has worked hard and saved herself"
Gorgeous man.

Life is certainly different for her. If her kids dad was a gangster, she may have really lived a tough life, and Diddy may have gotten her away from that.

He must also have a lot of enemies that she's afraid of

I can imagine that she is totally dependent on him, along with the kids

But a tiny part of me thinks - I'd rather be on the breadline that rely on this man

Its easy to think of her as a sort of Tina Knowles/Judy Murray figure when more than likely, she's a victim of his just like his wife was

When I was in labour a midwife laughed in my face when I said I was only young when I had my first child, I was 23. Is that not young seriously ?! Fucking ridiculous.

23 really isn't young to have a child, in many cultures it would be considered older.

A midwife laughing isn't okay but it depends on what kind of laugh it was.

Justin's statement is so ... edited?

I feel awful for him because i think he was involved / abused / something. He is only issuing this statement now its 💯 clear he isnt going to be dragged into it.
i don't blame him, his mental health seems to be hanging by a thread. He and hailey having been spending like crazy and he had to sell his back catalog and most men dont want to admit to this kind of thing anyway....

And yes Cassies husband was her PT and I imagine saw a lot of the crazy.

Oh it was very much laughing at me. I think it’s young, in our western culture anyway, might be different in other cultures

Young in terms of averages and statistics? yes, but only recently.

I wouldn't raise an eyebrow at a 23 year old Mum though.

But young for a midwife? definitely not.

Jennywren8 · 17/05/2025 18:50

I think just a bisexual orgy with drugs and alcohol

Edited

I worked in health for a long time and when those kind of situations were first happening a decade or more ago with primarily gay men, as that was the primary demographic, they were called chem-sex parties/orgies.

They were a 'thing' at that time where there were a lot of consensual parties but consent went out of the window as the nights/days went on and a lot of exploitation and actual sexual offences happened, which were not reported. And a bizarre situation where many men were willingly having non-protected sex with other men that were open about their HIV positive status as some kind of 'thrill' stemming from these parties.

But a colleague once did a typo and said kerm-sex in notes. Which led to a joke about Kermit, the Muppet being involved and I got irrationally upset by that :)

AliceMcK · 23/05/2025 01:32

There is so much rot in the celebrity world, as with the likes of R Kelly, Jeffery Epstein, Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Jimmy Saville and so on… there is always background noise, stories, people in the industries who know these things and actively cover them up.

There has been noise about Combs for years, ask 50c, or;

Aubrey O’Day - Fired and silenced by NDAs when she tried to speak about him.
Wendy Williams - radio host fired for trying to talk about him back in the late 90s
Friends of Combs ex Kim Porter, there is a lot of noise there about her being afraid combs would kill her then she suspiciously ended up dead.
There is also a rumour combs drugged Jamie Foxx when they well out. Foxx famous for attending combs parties..
Apparently rumours have circulated for years that people who piss combs off end up dead or missing, loads of stuff around Tupac and Biggy.
It’s not a rumour he carries guns, apparently he made JLo hold the gun when they were chased by police.

For years and years people have been speaking out, mentioning his parties and how “wild” they were, making jokes on talk shows and podcasts casts, many famous people saying they never stayed for the “after parties” meaning they knew what was actually happening. The Kardashian’s, Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, all talked about wild parties. Usher saying he’d never let his child live with combs like he did. Justin Beiber ( yes I know he’s defined it) but there is video footage where he looks very uncomfortable about his time at combs place.

Im not big into rap music but it’s been known for years many other rappers have made reference to what combs really is.

Noise Noise Noise but all these other celebs will get away with letting it all happen or even taking part which I fully believe many did!

@AliceMcK hiding in plain site like all these predators do

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 23/05/2025 10:35

I heard kid cudi took the stand, speaking about the bomb in his car

The thing is, the number of people who will come out with their stories after the guilty verdict... but I just think, how many girl and gays did you watch suffer at the hands of this man?

Sad
