I really feel for cassie, heavily pregnant and reliving all that horrible stuff she went through.

I’ve been listening to the red handed podcast on it, just shocking and appalling, especially how long he’s got away with it.

I’m following on Twitter/X an account (@ innercitypress) that is live tweeting the whole trial.

It's on CNN and I'm seeing pieces on the dailyfail too. My heart goes out to Cassie. Especially when the other side has their go. At 19 how many of us made stupid choices, were easily coerced etc. She spent 10 years in a cycle of abuse, and that one video clip of the assault is awful, so I can only imagine what went on behind closed doors. Credit should be given to the hotel security person who witnessed the on tape assault, checked on her, got her out safely, and turned down the huge pile of money thrown at him to forget the whole thing. He's now apparently a police officer.

So his lawyers apparently put in a request that the jurors come in when she's seated ...presumably so they don't get a full look at the bump and so are reminded she's a mother as well as a human being????

Judge denied it - woo hoo go judge!

I mean if these are the lame straws his legal team are grasping at they must know he is toast

I wonder how badly he panicked when R Kelly was sent to prison. Pair of losers.

I got the BBC Sounds app on my phone from the Google Play Store. Along the bottom of the Home page you find podcasts in the middle. The pod cast home page brings up the catergories but it will probably be near the top if trending. He is in an orange jumpsuit and dark sunglasses, if my photo doesn't upload. Over 30 episodes, 40/50mons long, the last two are daily updates from the courtroom. Really interesting though imo.

Pleased to see that the judge is getting pissed off at Diddy trying to call the shots. It really does show that Diddy is a controlling arsehole. Can't wait to hopefully see him put behind bars for the rest of his life (and then perhaps some others to follow!)

I haven’t checked US law but on second thought - it does sounds like cassie was a victim of modern slavery?

so I suppose it follows that human trafficking is a viable outcome. Cassie was basically a prostitute for his sole pleasure.

there is a public video of her trying to leave and getting battered - that’s the whole point of the bloody trial. He would not let her leave. She was scared about violence against her/her family and blackmail etc given the abuse she faced.

Get with it @petermaddog - it's 2025 - we understand coercive control and why people don't 'just leave' now. Those factors become massively elevated when there is a person of fame/wealth/influence and connections in the driving seat.

Diddy is completely cancelled regardless of the outcome of this trial. He is a disgusting and depraved man and I can only hope justice will be served if not by the court then by his peers outside.

I saw the footage from the hotel, obviously the faces are blurry so can’t confirm it’s 100% them but was a bit intense.

I saw the video of him dragging and kicking her in the hotel and it made me so fucking furious I wish to see medieval torture performed on him publicly in punishment.
