That VAT SH tweet is mad. Labour seem to be in the we’ll say anything and use any lie as comms zone now.

Perhaps they feel how under threat their economic policies are making them. Last chance comms stuff.

Ah, I know the case you mean, now. Thanks. He was Bolivian, that is why I couldn't find it. Poor man. Just horrible.

I can’t understand why all parents aren’t outraged with the short change education is getting from labour.

Parsley1234 · 13/06/2025 09:59

@PlutoCat sorry my mistake

Parsley1234 · 13/06/2025 10:17

Vat challenge in private schools lost very sad day

EasternStandard · 13/06/2025 10:31

That’s a shame @Parsley1234hopefully Labour will be one term and it’ll be scrapped soonish.

That's awful news. At least the court case uncovered some of the lies that have been spewed by labour.
I'm sure lots of labour supporters will be pleased at so many young lives being trampled on by their precious government.

Yes Labour crowing about the poor policy will be bad.

TheNuthatch · 13/06/2025 10:46

As a parent of dc with SEN who had to remove from mainstream and homeschool, I find the crowing revolting.
The same dc with SEN will also lose her much needed PIP thanks to this shit shower.

I’m sorry to hear that, it is revolting.

Pre GE I thought Labour’s economic policies and smash the gangs failure would see them out but the unnecessary and vindictive hit was to dc, so bad.

User450877 · 13/06/2025 11:35

Yes over and above the actual vat policy, the smirking and horrible comments - of which this’ll unleash more - have been the icing on the cake.

I can just imagine the gloating going on at Labour HQ right now.
Incidentally, wasn’t the money raised from VAT supposed to pay for more teachers? Now I read it’s for housing.
Hmmm

User450877 · 13/06/2025 11:46

What money raised? They say they’re not populists but they’re pretty good at smoke and mirrors!

If there is any money. It’s looking unlikely.

User450877 · 13/06/2025 11:47

Well, they are energising the anti labour fight for the next GE amongst various groups..people don’t forget how they were made to feel.

Posters do this and ask for support when Labour do the same to them. Not sure why.

ETA hopefully the pissed off people will see them out next GE.

User450877 · 13/06/2025 11:55

I can’t imagine smirking and enjoying any child’s education getting disrupted, deeply unpleasant. Yes, they’ve hit many groups quickly and without good thought and they’re not showing much sign of changing their MO.

Ik the smirking. Deeply unpleasant people.

Have you seen any crowing on here today about the court case outcome? I haven’t.

Sure look at the pro Labour long running one. Plenty there.

EasternStandard · 13/06/2025 14:03

I anticipate some will want support when Labour go for welfare cuts. I wonder if they’ll appreciate similar laughter.

No idea it’s in chat with a number in the title. I’m sure you can find it near the top of the board.
