Poor Keir in bed on Easter Sunday eating his Easter eggs having to deal with this rumpus 🤣🤣🤣🤣 poor whoever is with him 😜😜😜having to listen to his whining

EasternStandard · 20/04/2025 08:35

His pained confused expression. Even Easter Eggs can’t improve that 😬

Imagine! A man telling women that it’s appalling that men can’t use women’s facilities nor compete in women’s sport! I mean as if that would ever happen..

Uhm.. Have you seen the news this morning?

Oh. Wait. There are women saying that too?

Yes.

WHAT? Labour Party women?

Yes.

No way! ‘Don’t they understand biological sex?

It appears not.

Don’t they understand the principles of the democratic system they ‘work’ ‘for’?

Again, obviously they don’t.

Why, this is unbelievable!

Good Lord. This is a fine mess they’ve got themselves into. Perhaps they need to look back over Tony Benn insights.

Don’t say ‘Biological sex isn’t real’

Do say ‘Biological sex exists and it is binary’

@EasternStandard it cd be if they were smooshed into his face 🤣🤣🤣

TheNuthatch · 21/04/2025 19:35

Evening all. Hope you've all enjoyed your long weekend. I've had a few blissful days away from politics and news in general. Back on the horse tomorrow.

No response from Starmer yet then? I can't find anything. I was just reading about the trans rights protests, so I assumed our PM would have a response to people inciting hatred and violence, including murder, on placards. Also vandalism of statues. Surely the perps should be condemned, fast tracked through the courts, and imprisoned. Or does that set of principles not apply when the targets are women?

Probably not. It also didn’t apply when Jo Brand suggested throwing battery acid at politicians.

TheNuthatch · 21/04/2025 19:52

@Barbadossunset yes I remember the Jo Brand thing!
Obviously it only applies to those on the 'far right bandwagon' then.

Well my return to MN threads last night was a baptism of fire. I was accused of being incontinent, and told I have my head in the clouds. All for pointing out that Reform are polling well. Oof the lefties are angry. Like wasps in a jar.
So many insults, so little time 😂.

Oh wow, that's big news. How do you feel about it? Would you keep your business on a simmer until things improve if you took the job?

BTW, I think you are very au fait.

I’ve taken this from another astute pp on a thread and thought it should be preserved here on this fab thread.

Look at this from Starmer

A timeline of Starmer's views:
2020: Self-ID and trans women are women
2021: 'Only women have a cervix' is something that should not be said
2022: Vast majority of women don’t have a penis
2023: 99% of women don’t have a penis
2024: Only women have a cervix and a woman is an adult female but making “jokes” about a political leader who doesn’t know the definition of woman is an “anti-trans” joke
2024: The law doesn’t need to be clarified as it’s already clear
2025: A woman is an adult female and I welcome the Supreme Court for giving clarity and now the law is clear

The last two are just so bad, I mean all of it is, but that juxtaposition really stands out.

Parsley1234 · 22/04/2025 15:15

@TheNuthatch you are biased 🤣🤣🤣
I got a job with the civil service in Covid it saved my bacon a more relaxed indulgent place after being in own business for ever sector it was unbelievable. When I left I was glad to but now the MOJ have offered me I think I’m going to take it and train to do child therapy god knows it’s needed. It’s a bloody total shame I love love love my business but if we have a big recession I am going to be stuffed esp with air band b etc x

Parsley1234 · 22/04/2025 15:16

@EasternStandard a bigger tool one can’t imagine

TheNuthatch · 22/04/2025 15:23

@EasternStandard
What a brilliant summary, thank you.
Starmer, the gaslighter in chief.

@Parsley1234 Good for you. If it gives you the financial stability you need, and takes the pressure off, then it can only be a good thing. I have to admit, I am struggling with the thought of you working for Shabana Mahmood 😂. I'm sure she's lovely irl.

@TheNuthatch they are all complete tools and MoJ is on its ass its reception duties only so not too awful. I just think it’s going to be a shit show next year and I can’t be playing fast and loose with my security x

Why don't they just have the decency to say they were wrong. Or to say, sorry, but I still think some women can have penises.

Do they think we all have our memory amputated?

Just that there seem to be a lot of derogatory comments about working in the public sector in these milieux. Like it is some parallel universe and sheltered from reality, you know.

I can never quite work out whether you're being offensive Springer. I will answer in good faith none the less.

I'm curious as to what you mean by these milieux in this context. Do you mean this thread, or your perception of my social standing/class?

As for public sector workers, I have mentioned before that we are an ex military family. Without being too outing, I have also worked in the public sector in a previous life. You put that comment specifically to me, and I'm not sure why. Have you and I crossed swords on this on another thread maybe? I do think that some public sector workers lose sight of how difficult and cut throat it is in the private sector.
My pps to Parsley were just me wishing her well in her next chapter.

Ok. I really don't see this thread as any kind of sub set though. The only commonality is that posters on the thread don't like this government.
