Does anyone know where my glasses are?

I’m hoping the Mumsnet hive mind might be able to help me find my work glasses. I lost them a week ago and am having a terrible time trying to use my laptop for work now as I can’t read properly. I have some varifocals and can see a bit through the bottom part but it’s not ideal and outs my neck at a funny angle.
The only thing I can remember about my glasses is hearing them drop somewhere. I didn’t pick them up at the time which suggests i was possibly carrying something with both hands. I suspect it was a parcel delivery probably Amazon.
I have ADHD so am always losing glasses. keys etc and have a terrible memory.
Ive tried looking everywhere I can think of but no sign of the glasses. Suggest me some places to look please.

Porch/somewhere near front door? (After the postman gave you the Amazon stuff)

Back of the sofa, between the cushions
Bathroom
Fridge
Under the bed, between the mattress and the headboard, down the side of the bed
In a pile of clothes
Coat pocket
Under a pile of paper

I lost my glasses, could not find them anywhere. I went to do some washing and they fell out of a pillowcase.

Hoodie or dressing gown pocket
behind breadbin
on top of air fryer
down side of kitchen or bedroom bin
on laundry pile (clean or dirty) or ironing pile
in side pocket of shopping basket
under coffee table
under side table or under something on side table
in pile of mail
between pages of a book, novel or recipe
in the dog bed
on a windowsill behind something
behind tap in kitchen

Assuming you've already checked the porch, try the hallway.

I always find mine on the bathroom sink

In the drawer/cupboard where you keep clean bedding and towels.

Which rooms have hard floors?
You haven't found them in a week means they must be under something.
I'd try under the couch. Behind the bread bin. With the amazon order, check your order history if you can't remember.

Mine often fall down behind my bedside table.

Have you been to a Royal Oak pub recently? There's just been a post on my local FB page showing a lost pair on the wall outside. 😁

I lost mine for ages - they had slipped down behind my pillow and wedged between the mattress and the wall.

Also try the bit in the kitchen where miscellaneous stuff gathers.

Near wherever you picked up or put down the delivery is most likely

Def not. I live in a ground floor flat so no porch

I do keep thinking somewhere around the bed but i’ve had everything out and can’t see them.

I thought that but they aren’t there

mixed up in clean bedding is a good idea I’ll check that.

On your head or in your pocket. Or tucked into the front of your top.

if you wear hoodies try the actual hood of your dressing gown / oodie or hoodie

If you have shoe storage in the hall check under it, behind it, and inside all the shoes...(guess how I know...!)

I don't know, but I am currently missing three pairs - two ordinary and my reading glasses... I'm wearing an old pair and managing without for reading. The most recent pair vanished after I fell asleep on the sofa. I remember seeing them as I stumbled up to bed about 1am but this was about a month ago and no sign since...

In the meantime did you know you can increase the size of type on your computer. Not sure what software you are using but Ctrl+ ctrl- might work. Also something in windows settings to generally change size.

Mine are usually either on the dining room table or on the little cupboard in the hall

Under the bedside cabinet. And between the mattress and the bed. And far further under your bed than you think possible. Under the sofa so far back that you have to pull the entire thing out. In the wastepaper bin. Back of a radiator. Airing cupboard. Top of the fridge. Top of the microwave or beside it behind the coffee. Beneath the boiler...

Whilst you're at it, any ideas where my spare computer distance glasses are? They're in the case for my incredibly expensive varifocals.
