Horrible weather here. I’m having a rest after a very busy week, culminating in my first audition for a stage role (amateur, I’m not a star!) in about 25 years yesterday. I’m waiting in the call about whether I got it sometime today.

Horrible here too in Swansea. I was hoping to get out in the garden after a busy week. DH has hurt his knee so I’m waiting on him instead.

I’m away this week in London with DS competing at Aquatics GB swimming championships. I’m following the thread but not the news so much!

Good luck cardi and young weird. It’s a nothing day here.

So far DS has raced para multi class freestyle 400m and 100m and been British champion in them both 😱 Both swims were lifetime bests and both medals were a surprise!!!

But he was para British champion alongside James Guy in the 400m and alongside Matt Richard’s for the 100m - might be his proudest moment in swimming to date!

I'm off all next week, DC1 is in London celebrating a friend's birthday (big 2 night do with about 15 people all from uni) and I have DS here with me - we are going to Cambridge tomorrow for a museum and lunch, and then to the Easter Fair at the care home where he worked last year.

The rest of the week is going to be spent ferrying people around - DS is going back to uni, middle DS is coming here with his fiance but needs collecting because the trains are not cooperating.

I have been to church to add my Lent tree to the Easter display, this is my cat bidding it farewell. I think he’ll miss it!

Still no news here and the MD’s Facebook shows him playing for a wedding at lunchtime so I assume he’s busy…why did he say he could let me know today though? Ah well. It’s just a hobby. And if the worst happens I’ve survived not getting a part before!
