Nothing wrong there, and a sentiment I certainly share. He has however failed to acknowledge that today is also Mother's Day and it is also still Lent. He's getting such a lot of stick. I have to say it is a shocking lack of inclusivity.

Presumably on Easter Sunday he will post a message? What has the midway point of Lent to do with anything?

I think it's because it's Mother's Day that people are getting het up. He's not recognised that.
