Yaay for Susan Crawford and Wisconsin! Shame about Florida, but then again, it is Florida.
I’m still on the Social Platform Formerly Known as Twitter from time to time, and it is interesting and quite horrifying to see how many racist, misogynistic, white men (and some women) are still firmly entrenched in their belief that Trump and Musk can do no wrong and are good for their country. They are wilfully ignoring the destruction of the social structure, but I suppose that is part and parcel of the "only violent white racist women-beating males are people whose opinion is valuable” ethos which they embrace. It is so disheartening as they cannot be argued with, their only answers are aggressive, meaningless, insults or “but her emails” and “Biden is a paedophile", still.
Also, yay for Cory Booker, let’s hope his efforts have not been in vain.
I am seeing lots about April 5th rallies, including people mentioning that if huge crowds of protestors descend on Washington DC, the malignant mango will take it as an opportunity to declare martial law, thus further crushing any dissent. What does anyone think?
