Trump, as out of control as a faulty Tesla, takes an ICE pick to the Constitution.

Thanks to @AcrossthePond55 and @Jaichangecentfoisdenom for the thread title and sub-title 😊

Remedy Supported by Kennedy Leaves Some Measles Patients More Ill

After the health secretary promoted vitamin A as a cure, parents in West Texas began giving their children high doses, sometimes to prevent infection.

Season 5 of Veep had a plotline about an outbreak of salmonella over Thanksgiving and POTUS accidentally tweeting what should have been a DM and then blaming Chinese hackers for it.

This followed an incident where upon becoming POTUS, the wrong guy got fired from the cabinet sparking an international incident because the names got mixed up.

Perhaps the top person at The Atlantic was added to the Signal chat because those on the chat believed there was a person in charge of the Atlantic.

Worryingly this is about the level of competence we’re dealing with.

Meanwhile, satire is overtaking real life.

I reckon this will be something that happens in reality before 2026

My hidden post is that The Atlantic has released the Signal war plans.

Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 26/03/2025 12:46

Thanks, @DuncinToffee (I’ve just now realised the significance of your username here), I’d been wondering what that was about and why it would be hidden.
I have the link to the article, if anyone is interested (or might that get hidden, too?).

Oh my goodness. I don't blame them. Goldberg has had every name under the sun lobbed at him in the most disgusting way. I am reading the article, it is absolutely shocking. Live timings in advance of attacks and updates as it's happening. It is far far worse than I imagined.
And it shows 19 in the group and Waltz adding Goldberg.
BTW the way Stephen Miller talks is revolting.

The Pentagon warned all WH staff on 18 March of the dangers of using Signal due to a technical vulnerability.
The arrogance knows no bounds, I hope heads will roll. Especially Hesgeth who talks as if he is 15 and on an online computer game.

Igotjelly · 26/03/2025 13:01

I had a quick google but couldn’t find the article, could you try posting a link?

Jaichangecentfoisdenom · 26/03/2025 13:03

This is a different link, I haven’t read the other one yet, this is horrifying enough.

I always thought it was your choice of topping for a donut?

Maybeee I was a bit wrong there...

JoshLymanSwagger · 26/03/2025 13:37

The Pentagon warned all WH staff on 18 March of the dangers of using Signal due to a technical vulnerability.

Am I the only one thinking the biggest vulnerability is the user?

Technically, none of those -insert description of choice here- should be allowed near a sharp implement.

DuncinToffee · 26/03/2025 13:37

It's a football (soccer) reference and until very recently nothing to do with doughnuts Grin

JoshLymanSwagger · 26/03/2025 13:38

PickAChew · 26/03/2025 13:39

We're going to need an archive of that if one crops up. I used my one free read on the original article.

I wonder if there's a "MAGA" T shirt (the Go Away version, obvs)..?
Gone for a google, back in a bit. Grin

I think it needs to be in a colour other than red, though, in case random people read it wrong and decide the wearer is an actual MAGA! Could attract hostility...

To quote the late, great, Douglas Adams:

“A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.”
